Now reading: Chapter 34. Rivals in love are especially jealous when they from Mr. CEO's Substitute Bride, a Romance novel by Elephant cross river.

"You...didn’t go back to Paris?" Titus Zane asked, ntioning that impressively romantic city left a complex feeling in his heart, yet he still tried to lift the corners of his lips.

"No, there are too many sad mories there. In this lifeti, I never want to go back, unless..." Logan Ray raised his head, looking directly at Titus Zane, his dark eyes brimming with too much emotion.

Even though Titus Zane knew what Logan wanted to say, he couldn’t help but speak, his fingers gripping the champagne glass tightening.

"Unless what?"

"Unless you go back with ." Logan’s clear eyes conveyed determination.

Titus Zane...

His hand holding the champagne glass trembled slightly, lifting his head to et Logan’s gaze, his colorless lips tremblingly ford a smile, yet it was so pale, "Stop joking, I...am doing well now, how could I go back to Paris with you."

"Little Zane." Logan took a step forward, grabbing Titus Zane’s hand, his handso eyebrows furrowing, his face showing distress.

"Stop lying to , I’ve heard about everything."

His hand held by Logan, the long-missed feeling of warmth, filled Titus Zane’s heart like a rising tide, yet, due to Logan’s words, his head drooped in guilt, his gaze evasive.

"I...what happened to ..."

"Little Zane!" This Titus Zane made Logan feel heartache. In his mory, she had always been the woman who relied on him at ho and was independent and confident outside. Since when had she beco so timid?

This isn’t her.

"Stop deceiving yourself, I already know everything, for that man, you aborted your own flesh and blood..."

Logan’s voice was full of pain, reflecting his current expression. The woman he had tenderly cared for over two decades, he couldn’t even bear to scold loudly, but that bastard, unexpectedly...

The scar was bluntly opened, right in front of the person he cared about the most. Titus Zane’s little remaining pride still tried to show strength, forcibly curving her lips into a smile, saying, "You know, over these years... I... always wanted to have a baby later..."

Reminded of this, Logan was filled with regret. The two of them had been together for so many years, if back then he had been a bit more forceful and made her pregnant, maybe, the outco wouldn’t have been like this now...

"Little Zane..."

Logan’s heart ached, his grasp on Titus Zane’s wrist tightening slightly, about to pull her into his embrace.

But soone was quicker. Titus Zane felt a sudden tightness on her shoulder, followed by a whirl, "Ah..." she exclaid, tumbling into a firm chest, her champagne spilling out from the glass.

It was Nathan Moore, his hands possessively encircling Titus Zane into his embrace, his dark eyes unfriendly as he looked at Logan, his handso face somber.

Logan’s hand stopped in mid-air, facing his rival made his eyes red with rage, even the gentle man could beco fierce.

"Nathan Moore, if you don’t know how to cherish her, why keep holding on to her!"

"Let go?" Nathan’s thin lips curved into a cold arc, then he looked down at Titus Zane gently rubbing her nose within his chest, his lips parting slightly, asking, "Do you want to go with him?"

Titus Zane suddenly looked up, forgetting the pain on her nose, shaking her head repeatedly, "No, no, I don’t want to..."

She couldn’t afford to implicate the entire Zane Family for her own selfish reasons.

"Did you hear that? She said she doesn’t want to." Nathan looked up, matching Logan’s enraged glance, a victor’s posture, his hand on Titus Zane’s shoulder slid down, wrapping tightly around her waist, leaving her no space and pressing her firmly against himself.
