Now reading: Chapter 364 - 360, the punishment is too light from Mr. CEO's Substitute Bride, a Romance novel by Elephant cross river.

Similarly, Wesley Foley was also silent, his head bowed to the office desk, the signing pen squeaking on the docunt when it was pressed down, clearly exerting much force.

Otherwise, signing a na wouldn’t make such a loud sound.

The warm and handso face turned cold and stern, with thin lips tightly pursed into a straight line. Titus Zane sneakily glanced up for a mont, noticing every line on his face was taut.

"Director Foley, may I..." leave now?

Titus Zane tentatively began to speak, but after uttering just three words and seeing Wesley Foley showing no reaction, he swallowed the rest of his sentence.

Titus Zane suddenly realized a fact, that n are harder to console when they’re angry than won.

It’s true of Wesley Foley, and so it is of Nathan Moore.

This morning... Well, to be precise, it should be considered afternoon.

After being forcefully kissed by Nathan Moore, she couldn’t break free; when she struggled and resisted, the result...

was a slap across his handso face.

At that mont, Nathan Moore’s expression was terrifying. Clutching his face and glaring at her, flas in his eyes seed ready to reduce her to ashes...

Titus Zane knew that the slap wasn’t light, with a loud sound echoing through the silent apartnt, but...

She didn’t an it, who made him kiss her forcibly over and over again.

Moreover, he had also committed dostic violence against her in the past. And now this slap... could be considered as paying back a little interest.

Without another word, Nathan Moore rose to his feet, grabbed her arm and walked towards the bedroom door.

At that mont, Titus Zane was frightened, thinking Nathan Moore was going to be violent again, she was even prepared to receive a slap in return.

But to her surprise, instead, Nathan Moore dragged her by the arm out of the apartnt. Titus Zane thought he was undoubtedly enraged and intended to lock her out, but...

What Nathan Moore did next was once again unexpected: he shoved her into the car, started the engine without a word, and drove off.

Feeling very uneasy, she didn’t know where Nathan Moore was taking her. She wanted to ask, but seeing the taut outline of his handso profile, Titus Zane wisely chose to keep quiet.

It wasn’t until the sedan entered the apartnt where she lived that her anxious heart finally settled.

Just as she breathed a sigh of relief, the sedan stopped under the apartnt building. "Get out!" he demanded coldly, without a hint of warmth, not even giving her a chance to apologize.

With a weak response, Titus Zane pushed open the car door and glanced once more at the man’s facial expression.

No sooner had her second foot touched the ground and before she could close the door, the sedan swiftly turned and drove away.

Caught off guard, she stumbled backward a few steps, nearly falling.

It was during this mont that she saw clear finger marks on the other side of Nathan Moore’s handso face – her own handiwork.

No wonder he was so angry; it must have hurt, right?

Titus Zane felt a twinge of guilt and also sighed...

Wesley Foley raised his eyes to look at her, the woman standing in front of the office desk with her head bowed, her hands clasped in front of her, in a very proper posture, occasionally sighing like a pupil who had done wrong, full of remorse.

His previously tight lips loosened slightly, even curving into a slight arc.

However, the mont was fleeting.

Wesley Foley composed himself, "Go back and write a self-criticism report, explaining the reasons for your tardiness in no less than 20,000 words!"

Titus Zane...

looked at Wesley Foley with a stunned face. She hadn’t misheard, had she?

Write a self-criticism?

That should be a penalty for junior high students or younger, she was past that age. Besides, she had hardly ever made mistakes in school, so she never had to write one.

Seeing Titus Zane staring blankly without responding, Wesley Foley closed the folder in his hand with a snap, his voice severe, as was the expression on his handso face.

"What? You didn’t hear what I said? Or do you think my punishnt is too light?"
