When Nathan Moore once again arrived in Titus Zane’s room it was nearing midnight, just after dealing with work. He took a shower in the bathroom and still had a mist of moisture on him when he lifted the covers and lay on the bed.
He pulled the woman who was facing away into his arms. Just as he closed his eyes, the woman turned around and snuggled up to him tightly. Through the fabric of the pajamas, she rubbed her little face against his chest and wrapped her arms firmly around his waist.
To Nathan’s own surprise, he undid the buttons of the pajamas, letting her small face press directly against his bare chest. The sensation of skin touching skin filled his heart, and a kiss landed on the crown of Titus Zane’s head, lingering for a long ti before he pulled away.
"Goodnight,"
The woman with her eyes closed and face pressed against his chest didn’t respond, but the corner of her lips unwittingly curved into a slight smile.
He hadn’t slept so soundly in a long ti, like being imrsed in a warm and sheltered harbor. It was already well into the morning, yet Titus Zane showed no signs of waking up.
As for Nathan, years of habit had him already awoken by his biological clock.
Lying on his back in bed, with one arm cradling the sleeping woman and the other behind his head, he watched the woman draped across his chest with a downward gaze.
Unknown to him, the buttons on his silk pajamas had co undone, revealing his robust chest, and the woman’s sleeping posture was incredibly alluring.
Her little face rested in the crook of his shoulder, one hand stretched across him, one long leg also draped over his waist.
They say n are most dangerous in the morning, and certain parts of the body awaken with them.
Titus Zane’s current sleeping position was indeed tornting, with the leg across his lower abdon, the bend of her knee just resting on that particular spot.
Separated by a thin layer of fabric, the feeling of being enveloped in warmth both pained and pleased Nathan Moore.
The blanket was pulled up just below their shoulders, so that with a re glance down, he could see the fullness against his chest already deford by the pressure.
The sensation in his palm was still fresh in mory. His sexy Adam’s apple slid up and down. He wanted to move, but feared he might wake the soundly sleeping woman.
She had said she often suffered from insomnia. How could he bear to disturb her precious, sweet slumber?
Yet, the hand behind his head couldn’t help but pull away, his distinct-knuckled fingers sneaking like a thief slowly towards that altered shape.
Holding his breath, he carefully slid his hand in. The mont his palm was filled, the sleeping woman furrowed her brow and let out a soft moan. Nathan Moore secretly sighed in relief, his lips involuntarily curling into a smile.
It was the feeling of a naughty deed successfully accomplished, satisfying and thrilling.
In the downcast view, Titus Zane remained fast asleep. The bruising at the corner of her right eye had faded, and the marks on her cheek had also vanished. But the small scar on her forehead was faintly discernible.
A stifling sensation seized his chest as if it had been gouged by a sharp instrunt. Three years and the scar had not fully healed, how painful it must have been at the ti.
He slightly shifted his handso face, warm lips gently kissing the scar but refusing to leave, exploring with his tongue around that mark...
In her slumber, sothing itched at her forehead, causing Titus Zane to frown and turn over, her leg hanging on that spot unconsciously followed her movents, causing Nathan Moore to hiss in pain.
Silly woman, does she want to cripple his lifeline with such force?
Turning over as well, he scooped the woman with her back to him into his embrace, his robust chest pressing tightly against Titus Zane’s back, and at the sa ti, one large hand snuck into her sleeping gown again.
Nathan Moore didn’t intend to do anything, rely craving these monts of blissful happiness.
But a certain part of him, beyond his control, grew increasingly excited, shaking a greeting to his queen.
