Her long hair hung in disarray in front of her chest and along her back, making her look incredibly disheveled.
Indifferent to the fact that she was stark naked, Titus Zane walked barefoot out of the bedroom.
After all, the housemaids were all won, and in front of them, she had long ago lost any dignity.
"Auntie Liu..." Just as she reached the stairs on the second floor, Titus Zane called out.
"Coming, coming," Auntie Liu hurried out of her room, her coat almost falling off in her rush, so she quickly grabbed the collar with one hand.
"Miss Titus, what happened to you?" Seeing Titus Zane looking like that, Auntie Liu froze in place, forgetting to react.
Titus Zane descended the stairs, approached Auntie Liu, turned around without a hint of embarrassnt on her face, and said, "Auntie Liu, help untie this."
"Ah, sure, sure."
Auntie Liu ca to her senses and busied herself with untying the necktie wrapped around Titus Zane’s wrists, guessing from her state of undress that she must have been abused by her husband again.
"Miss Titus, put this on, it’s cold." After untying the necktie, Auntie Liu hurriedly took off her coat and draped it over Titus Zane’s shoulders.
It wasn’t just the cold; it was uncomfortable to look at her wearing nothing at all.
"Thank you." Titus Zane tightened the coat around her and walked barefoot to the dining room, unconcerned about her still-naked lower body.
She opened the liquor cabinet, took out a bottle of red wine, then picked up a corkscrew and slowly began to twist it open, going through the motions thodically, as if nothing had happened just monts before.
Auntie Liu frowned, feeling a pang of sorrow for Miss Titus. Such a beautiful woman, as if stepped right out of a painting, how could her husband be so heartless?
Auntie Liu sighed and was about to suggest that Titus Zane go back to her room to put on so clothes, as it was cold, to avoid catching a cold, but then she saw a red liquid trickling down her thigh.
"Miss Titus, blood! Your leg!" Auntie Liu gasped, covering her mouth, realizing it was probably not nstrual blood, which ant...
"It’s nothing, I won’t die." Titus Zane spoke nonchalantly, took a wine glass, sat at the dining table, poured herself a glass of red wine, and began to sip it slowly.
"Oh dear, Miss Titus, how can you be so indifferent about your own body!" Auntie Liu hurried to the dining table, her face filled with anxiety, knowing as a woman what could cause that kind of bleeding.
"Hurry back to your room and clean yourself up, then apply so antiseptic ointnt, it could be serious otherwise."
"It’d be better if it rotted away," Titus Zane said, with her chin propped up and taking another sip of her wine, speaking with apparent indifference.
If it rotted away, that bastard wouldn’t be able to abuse her anymore.
"Miss Titus, why won’t you listen to advice!" Auntie Liu slapped her thigh, pacing around in distress and not daring to do much else but fret.
"It’s getting late, you should go back to your room to rest," Titus Zane spoke indifferently.
"But you..."
"I’m fine, I’ll sleep after I drink."
Auntie Liu sighed and turned back to her room. In the dining room, Titus Zane sat alone at the table, slowly sipping her wine, expressionless.

In the second room on the right-hand side upstairs, Nathan Moore had not yet fallen asleep.
Lying in bed, his fingers touched his lips as he stared blankly ahead.
In the darkness, his slightly narrowed eyes seed sowhat dazed.
A pair of handso eyebrows were tightly knitted, as if contemplating sothing.
He knew—he had hurt her.
While showering, he saw blood on himself... it must have been hers.
Yet he didn’t regret it, not in the slightest.
A flirtatious woman deserved a lesson!
Otherwise, she would never learn!
