lody Zachary temporarily moved into her son’s house, Felix Shaw made a call to his father conveying his mother’s intent. Oliver Shaw didn’t say much, but when the divorce agreent was presented in front of him, he refused to sign.
Not that he wanted to retain lody Zachary, but because of the demands she made – to transfer 5% of the company shares to herself imdiately and make it official, and that when he steps down from the company, all his shares would be transferred to his son, Felix Shaw.
Everyone has their own selfish motives, and Oliver Shaw was no exception. Just over fifty, he still had a lot of life ahead of him, and with a new wife and daughter, even if not for himself, he needed to consider Vanessa Armstrong and her mother.
Thus, faced with the divorce agreent placed before him, he outright refused to sign it.

Mia’s threatening tone was evident; her calm deanor only further displeased Oliver Shaw, who snorted lightly, his eyes narrowing, "Are you threatening ?"
As she placed the divorce agreent onto the coffee table and t Oliver Shaw’s piercing gaze, Mia Foster smiled faintly, "You can think of it that way. Felix might still consider familial affection, so he may hold back, but I am different. The mother and daughter an nothing to , so..." She paused, grabbed lody Zachary’s hand, looking as if to empower her, "For mom’s sake, I can’t guarantee I won’t do sothing that might hurt the flower of our nation."
"Hmph! Just try it!" Oliver stood up angrily from the sofa and strode off after throwing down those words.
Hearing the door slam with a bang, lody Zachary instinctively gripped Mia Foster’s hand, "Mia, what if he refuses to sign? I don’t need that 5% of the shares, just as long as he signs..."
Mia gently patted lody Zachary’s hand, comforting yet firm, "Mom, you deserve those shares from the company. After all your hard work, you shouldn’t walk away with nothing. As for the shares to be transferred to Felix, we can let those go. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure he agrees."
"Felix..." lody Zachary hesitantly turned towards her son, to which Felix likewise comforted, "Mom, let Mia handle everything, don’t worry."
Mia had proven her capability in handling matters, which reassured him about letting her manage the divorce case for his mother.
