"What way?" Felix Shaw asked seriously, and Mia Foster suddenly leaned in close, bringing her lips near Felix Shaw’s ear and whispered, "Actually...you could repay ...with your body..."
It was a joke, but also a kind of probe.
However, Felix Shaw tensed up, the promise unbidden ringing in his ears,
...Promise , while you’re with , don’t touch other won...
He didn’t consider himself particularly honorable, it’s just that—
Mia nevertheless said that if she found out he was involved with other won, she would not hesitate to divorce him...
He didn’t love her, at least not now, but he also hadn’t considered divorce. As his brothers had said, Mia Foster was a good woman...so he wanted to sort everything out and then allow himself to try to accept her, to slowly start...loving her.
Even though he wasn’t a good man, he really despised the idea of two-timing.
He sighed inwardly, Felix Shaw turned his handso face away to avoid Mia Foster’s closeness, "Go to sleep, it’s late."
Having said that, he pulled up the thin blanket and lay down with his back to Mia Foster.
Mia Foster still sat on the bed, maintaining her previous posture, her hands tightened on the bed, unconsciously clutching the sheets in her grasp. She didn’t believe Felix Shaw didn’t understand her hint; pretending not to know was a clear form of evasion.
Mia Foster was not a woman to cling desperately, but neither would she compromise herself completely.
She looked coldly at Felix Shaw’s back and asked, "Felix Shaw, what do you an?"
For more than half a month, he hadn’t touched her once, but originally, it was he who had actively proposed to her.
"Mia, give so ti," Felix Shaw turned his head, his peach blossom eyes revealing an indistinct emotion.
"Give you so ti?"
Mia Foster laughed, "Felix Shaw, was it who forced you to marry ?"
"No," Felix Shaw said helplessly, grabbing Mia Foster’s wrist and pulling her into his embrace, "Mia, stop it. Let’s sleep, recently...there have been too many things, so...I’m not in the mood."
Hearing the sigh from above her head, Mia Foster felt helplessly resigned as well.
At the urging of her son and daughter-in-law, lody Zachary finally stopped moping at ho, spending her days playing cards with other ladies and returning in the afternoon to prepare dinner for her son and daughter-in-law, living like a typical housewife, which made for a fulfilling life.
One day, Sophie Foster called Mia Foster, proactively inviting her to dine together.
When Titus Zane was still around, Sophie Foster would occasionally arrange a get-together, the three won going to a bar to sit for a while. Although Titus Zane was reserved, at least she was not pretentious and was sincere in dealing with people, which made the company quite enjoyable.
Thinking of her polite but distant marital relationship with Felix Shaw, Mia Foster was really feeling down. She agreed to Sophie Foster’s invitation and called lody Zachary before leaving work to head directly to the appointnt.
Rarely, Sophie Foster chose a music-thed restaurant with a very artistic decor. Couples sat opposite each other, and on the stage in front, a Singer was playing the guitar and singing.
Sophie Foster raised a glass of juice, smiling and saying, "Mia, sorry I didn’t attend your wedding day, don’t mind it, okay? Consider this as my apology."
Mia Foster smiled and also raised her juice, "Didn’t we still have dinner together that night?"
"Eh, that doesn’t count. That night was Titus Zane’s treat; it had nothing to do with ." Sophie Foster exaggeratedly frowned, her head full of braids matched with her non-mainstream denim attire.
"How can it be unrelated? Isn’t Titus Zane your man," Mia Foster said with a light smile, guessing that the two must have had a tiff.
