Previously, Elizabeth White’s tear-jerking acts never failed to work on Felix Shaw, but this ti, upon hearing her grievance-stricken sobs, Felix felt inexplicably annoyed. After hanging up the phone, Elizabeth’s lips curled into a smug smile, and the pitiable expression on her face disappeared. Looking ahead, her eyes hid a clear calculation.
As for the sudden little life inside her, she had never intended to keep it. Her career was on the rise, and if she stopped to have a baby, not to ntion whether Felix would take responsibility, by the ti she gave birth, she feared there would be no place for her in this circle anymore.

Felix clamped Mia’s jaw, and in the dark, with faces—one sneering and the other with brows tightly knitted—Mia looked at the handso face close to hers in disbelief, her voice choking as she spoke, "Felix, is this how you see ?"
