Felix Shaw pressed his fist against his lips and took a deep breath, as if suppressing a great deal of emotions. Suddenly, he strode down the steps, grabbed Mia Foster’s arm, and headed towards his car.
"Felix Shaw... what are you doing... let go..."
Mia Foster struggled while being forced to follow behind Felix Shaw. Walking quickly in her high heels, Felix Shaw’s face was expressionless as he indifferently said, "We’re going ho."
"Felix Shaw, are you crazy? We’re in the middle of a divorce..."
"That’s just wishful thinking on your part." Felix Shaw glanced back at Mia Foster and continued to lead her towards his parked car.
Mia Foster felt powerless against Felix Shaw’s obstinate behavior, "Felix Shaw, you have plenty of won, why do you persistently cling to !"
"You know it too." Mia Foster’s words made Felix Shaw stop. He turned his head to look down at her, grinding his teeth as he said, "Mia Foster, you freaking warned not to interact with other won, and now, you are the only woman by my side, yet you still want to divorce !"
"Hmph," a light sneer, Mia Foster said incredulously, "Felix Shaw, can you stop ssing around? That little starlet, Elizabeth White, is already carrying your child and you still claim I’m the only woman by your side? Aren’t you embarrassed? Is your conscience really clear with such self-deception!"
Mia Foster poked at Felix Shaw’s chest with her finger, her words hitting him hard.
Felix Shaw licked his lips, turned his face away again, and spoke with a noticeably weaker conviction.
"I’m not quite sure whether Elizabeth White’s child is mine either, but my older brother is currently investigating it." In the hospital, when she questioned Elizabeth White, she said the child was conceived on the night he went to Beijing to discuss investnts. Although he saw Elizabeth White’s bruised body that morning, he... really does not rember doing anything.

Just thinking about such a man was revolting, how could they continue to be husband and wife!
"Mia Foster! Can you stop twisting my words! I told you, that child might not be mine, and even if it is, it was before we got married, so it doesn’t count!"
Mia Foster knew she was a stubborn person, but she hadn’t realized Felix Shaw was just as stubborn. She sighed helplessly, closing her eyes, "Felix Shaw, there are so many won in the world, why must you cling to ?" He didn’t love her, yet he wouldn’t let go, what the hell was this logic!

"Hah!" A cold laugh, Felix Shaw looked up, "Too late, Mia Foster, I’ve discovered that I might have fallen in love with you..."
Every night, lying in bed with the lights off, he would habitually stretch out his arm trying to grasp sothing. Waking up in the morning and seeing the empty space beside him, he would feel inexplicably lost.
