Nathan Moore lifted his head again. "Felix, let’s hold a shareholders eting tomorrow to discuss how many shares to issue and then apply for approval. It will take so ti to get approved, so first, make contact with the target for the stock issuance. The rest will be contracted out to my elder brother and my two companies."
"Felix, Nathan is right. This matter should not be delayed; the sooner, the better." Nicholas Croft patted Felix Shaw on the shoulder, and Evander Lancaster spoke again, "Although I don’t have much money, I can participate in the stock issuance on behalf of the hospital."
"Alright, I’ll propose it at the shareholders eting tomorrow." Felix Shaw extinguished his cigarette and rose from the sofa. "I’m heading back now; my mom’s health has not been great lately."
"Is Aunt okay? Why not bring her to my hospital for a check-up?" As a doctor, he couldn’t bear to hear about others falling ill. Felix Shaw glanced casually at Evander Lancaster and said, "No need for that. She just got divorced from Dad, and now Mia is causing a scene. It’s just a case of getting upset, nothing serious. Once I bring Mia back, everything will be fine."
"A problem of the heart needs a cure for the heart," Evander Lancaster agreed.
The next day, Felix Shaw proposed at the shareholders eting that the company should issue new shares to raise funds for the new project to prevent a funding shortfall halfway through the project developnt.
Two senior shareholders opposed the expansion, as this would dilute their shares. Although Oliver Shaw understood this principle, the financial departnt’s report clearly stated that the company’s new project required at least 300 million in liquid capital. The resort was not yet completed, and even once completed, it would take two to three years to recover costs. The company did not have so much liquidity now, and since they needed to develop new projects, the money had to co from secondary market financing.
For the company’s best interest, the majority of shareholders sided with Felix Shaw. After much debate, the stock issuance plan was collectively approved.

With the stock issuance matter concluded, Felix Shaw found himself with so spare ti. For several days in a row, he waited outside Mia Foster’s company for her to get off work, but he kept coming up empty-handed because Mia Foster had gone to another city for business negotiations with her team.
He called Mia Foster, but she refused to answer. Unable to see her and afraid to ask his father-in-law, after a few days, Felix Shaw finally ran out of patience and stepped inside the company’s doors to inquire with Edmund Foster.
Surprisingly, Edmund Foster did not refuse to see him and instructed the receptionist to let him through. In the office, before Felix Shaw could speak, Edmund Foster said seriously, "Felix, since Mia has decided to divorce you, I don’t want to discuss who is right or wrong between you two anymore. Both of our families are reputable, so it’s best to sign the divorce papers soon to avoid gossip all over the city, which would benefit neither of our families."
"Dad, I disagree with the divorce," Felix Shaw said calmly. Edmund Foster frowned slightly, "Disagree? After making Mia suffer such great grievances and being wronged by that little celebrity, do you think I would allow my daughter to continue living with you?"
"Dad, although you are the elder, marriage is between Mia and ,
and my relationship with Elizabeth White was before I t Mia for matchmaking. Since marrying Mia, I have had no contact with her. Although we were involved before, that was all in the past. You can’t deny because of one accident,
I’ve already settled things with Elizabeth White, and she won’t bother Mia again. I admit I’ve been flirtatious, but since marrying Mia, I haven’t betrayed her."
