Titus Zane looked at the phone that had been hung up, sighed helplessly, and muttered to himself, "Brother, second brother, we really are in the sa boat." Their won had all left one after another: first Titus Zane, then Sophie Foster, and now Mia Foster wouldn’t talk to him either.
Throwing the phone aside, Felix Shaw lay down on the bed. It seed his journey to win back his wife was a long and uncertain one.
After having lunch and resting for a while, Felix Shaw went back to wait outside the company. He changed into jeans paired with a dark green T-shirt, adopting a casual appearance that made him look quite young.
Just like in the morning, he sat on the steps at the front of the company, with his hands resting on his knees, bored as he watched the street. A policeman ca over to question him and left after checking his ID.
The sun was gradually setting as employees started coming out of the main entrance one after another. Felix Shaw turned his head, looking towards the entrance, but even after a long wait, there was no sign of Mia Foster appearing. After thinking for a while, he got up and walked into the company lobby, where cleaning staff were tidying up. He politely greeted them and asked which floor the manager’s office was on, as he had heard that Asian man address Mia Foster like that in the morning. The cleaner looked at him, her eyes shining brightly beneath her black skin, and she questioned his identity. This ti, Felix Shaw didn’t say Mia Foster was his wife but instead said they were friends, perhaps because of their shared Asian appearance. The chubby cleaner believed him and told him the manager had already left and pointed him towards the direction of the underground parking lot.

Being in a foreign country and without Mia Foster’s phone number, he could only return to the hotel and make plans for tomorrow.
The next day, Felix Shaw arrived at the company early, standing on the path that led from the parking lot to the company’s entrance with the intention of seeing Mia Foster.
Around 8:30, a white sedan slowly entered the parking lot, parked in an empty spot, and Mia Foster stepped out in a maroon suit.
