After staying in State D for two days, Felix Shaw still couldn’t get close to Mia Foster, because every ti he tried, security would always appear imdiately. Two days later, he returned ho filled with disappointnt and confusion, only to encounter another headache: his mother, lody Zachary, got involved in a scandal with a famous male celebrity.
The male celebrity was just in his thirties, an actor from the sa crew as her, and single. Reporters caught footage of them entering and leaving a hotel together, and what’s more, the celebrity showed no qualms facing the dia’s caras.
Felix called his mother, even though he thought it was impossible, it was still frustrating to hear about his mother being involved in a scandal with a young celebrity. "Mom, have you found your second spring?" It’s even a May-December romance; he wonders what his father would think if he saw this scandal.
"Felix, don’t listen to the nonsense outside. All the actors in our crew are staying at the sa hotel. No matter how desperate I may be, I wouldn’t date soone around my son’s age..."
Hearing his mother say this, Felix teased her with a laugh, "Mom, you’re still young. Maybe you should try an autumn romance or sothing; your son would definitely support it."
"You brat, what’s with all this nonsense," lody said reproachfully, crying and laughing at the sa ti. Then, changing to a more serious tone with a sigh, she said, "I’m done with n. I won’t find another one in this lifeti. Living alone is quite good."
In fact, Felix knew that behind his mother’s exaggerated display lay a mask for her sense of loss, pretending she was living happily. Having been with his father for almost thirty years in marriage, a gentle and virtuous woman like his mother wouldn’t forget so quickly.
And his father’s attitude towards his mother seed to show he wanted to win her back; otherwise, he wouldn’t frequently visit her on set.
"Mom, maybe you could forgive Dad. You’re both at an age where..."
"No forgiving him!" lody cut Felix off decisively as he began to speak. "Back then, I humbled myself to beg him, but he refused to turn back. Why should I forgive him?"
lody was still holding a grudge over the past, sitting in the set’s rest area with the sa resolute expression on her face. Perhaps she didn’t want to discuss Oliver anymore, as she suddenly changed the topic. "Felix, what’s with the scandal about you and two C-list actresses a few days ago?"
Felix was caught off guard for a few seconds before responding helplessly, "Mom! What scandal are you talking about? How co I don’t know about it?"
"You don’t know? It was all over the entertainnt headlines a few days ago. Late at night, you went ho with two actresses for the New Year... Felix, don’t you know how to restrain yourself? If Mia finds out about this, would she still give you a chance?"
Felix...
Suddenly, he thought of sothing. Perhaps Mia’s intense reaction this ti was related to this. After brushing off his mother on the call, he hung up and went online to search.
It turned out things were just as he suspected. He was caught by paparazzi leaving a club with two girls, and in one photo, one of them was kissing his cheek. Felix rembered that he didn’t have ti to dodge as he was looking down to get his wallet.
Felix couldn’t quite fathom it. That day was New Year’s Eve, when most people would return ho for the holiday. And those actresses worked under his big brother’s banner, with hardly any fa that should attract the paparazzi. Yet, he got photographed sohow.
Seeing those two actresses clinging to his arms, it was no wonder Mia Foster would be upset. If he wasn’t involved, even he wouldn’t believe there was nothing going on.
