But Felix Shaw was in no mood to enjoy the view; his mind was consud with retrieving the woman who was about to stray.
As faces of varied complexions passed by, Felix Shaw cursed that he only had one pair of eyes. If he had more, perhaps he’d find that woman sooner.
Unlike the leisurely tourists, Felix Shaw moved quickly, his peach blossom eyes scanning around, hurrying along the bluestone path by the riverside railing.
"Sorry!" Suddenly, a woman bumped into his arms. Felix Shaw stopped, his hands resting on the woman’s shoulders. As the familiar yet drastically changed face ca into view, Felix Shaw’s eyes widened in disbelief, "Titus Zane?"
"Ah?" Titus Zane didn’t expect to et a familiar face on the streets of a foreign country. Upon recognizing Felix Shaw, she smiled politely and said, "It’s ."
"You survived?" Felix Shaw frowned. Since Titus Zane jumped from a fourth-floor balcony, he’d never seen her again, and Nathan Moore never ntioned her.
Titus Zane playfully tilted her head, "Did soone say I died?" Obviously, her personality had brightened considerably over the past three years.
"Oh, no, no." Felix Shaw spoke dismissively, his peach blossom eyes still wandering, as he pushed Titus Zane aside, saying, "Sorry, I have to go!"
"Not goodbye!" Titus Zane said in French. Felix Shaw hesitated, his French less than fluent, mistaking it for farewell. He turned, waved dismissively, and awkwardly echoed, "Not goodbye!"

Like other couples, Mia Foster and Steven British strolled hand in hand along the cobblestone street, a newfound feeling growing inside, light and carefree, like relief after deciding to let go.
The two seed well-matched, with Steven British dressed in pale grey-blue shirt and trousers, topped with a long ash-grey coat—a handso blond, blue-eyed sight.

Though her friendship with Titus Zane was not deep, Mia Foster genuinely liked Titus Zane’s cool but unpretentious nature and felt sincere sympathy for her plight.
