The next day, the couple went back to the Foster Family together. As soon as they entered the house, Felix solemnly apologized to his father-in-law and mother-in-law. Seeing their daughter clearly siding with Felix, Edmund and his wife couldn’t say much.
Mia went back to work at her family company. Felix suggested that she work at his company, but Mia refused.
Being an only daughter, the responsibility of managing the family business would eventually fall on her shoulders.
However, Felix beca Mia’s full-ti driver, taking her to work every day and only then going to his own job. In the evening, he would punctually pick her up at the office entrance.

Since Mia returned to the country, the couple acted like a pair of love-struck teenagers, holding hands wherever they went. At Beatrice Hargrave’s concert, they enacted a romantic scene where they kissed passionately, and Evander Lancaster recorded it on his phone, teasing them for a long ti.
The sumr passed in the blink of an eye, and Mia had been back almost half a year. Her mother-in-law, lody, often ntioned her desire for grandchildren whenever she visited, but Felix said he and Mia wanted to enjoy their ti alone for a bit longer.

During these months, lody spent most of her ti on set, but she wasn’t as frantic as when she first started, running back and forth between two different productions. Back then, she always felt empty inside, only finding temporary solace in keeping busy.
Now, over three years had passed, and with ti, so things had slowly faded. Besides, Oliver Shaw frequently accompanied her on set, and many uninford people mistook him for lody’s assistant.

It’s not like we’re slapping each other, it won’t hurt too much..."
After a break, they reshot the scene. The onscreen couple argued briefly, then the man, in a fit of rage, shoved his wife. The petite woman fell to the ground, clutching her chest and groaning in pain...
