The next day, lody Zachary was wheeled into the operating room for surgery. Mia Foster’s mother also ca to the hospital to stay with her daughter in the corridor. Knowing that lody was timid, Oliver Shaw also went in, changed into sterile clothes, and the tall man stood by the operating table, tightly holding lody’s hand.
The surgery was very successful. Oliver Shaw stayed in the hospital to take care of her every day, which lody initially agreed to, but after a week, she no longer wanted Oliver Shaw’s company.

Oliver Shaw held lody’s hand, "lody, it was my mistake back then. Please forgive ."
lody shook off Oliver Shaw’s hand, still staring ahead, "I don’t want to forgive, you were so heartless back then,"
"I was confused, blinded..."
Oliver Shaw once again held lody’s hand, "We’re at an age where we’re not really old, but not young either. Please be magnanimous and forgive . Move back ho so we can have soone to talk to."
"No, I’m staying at Felix’s place."
