Finally, the phone rang, the sound was very sudden, and Elizabeth White opened her eyes abruptly. After realizing it, she hastily brought the phone close to her ear.
"How much do you want for the negatives?" The cold voice of Felix Shaw drilled into her ear, and Elizabeth White snorted self-deprecatingly, deliberately dragging out her voice, "Well... Director Shaw, you are the one asking now. Shouldn’t your attitude be a bit nicer?"
"Cut the crap! Na your price!"
In the luxury car, Felix Shaw clearly had no patience. It’s not unusual for wealthy ladies to pay for duck services, but since it involved his own mother, he wouldn’t allow such photos to get out, even if his father saw them and got angry. It was all for his mother’s reputation.
And sending the photos was nothing more than Elizabeth White seeking to extort so money. Matters that money can solve are not actually problems.
"The price..." Seeing Felix Shaw getting on track, Elizabeth White started to keep him in suspense, dragging her voice as if considering, leaving Felix Shaw hanging for a while before she spoke, "Director Shaw, I know you should be busy having a morning eting at this ti. How about we et after you’re done with your work?"
"Location?"
"I’m at West Joy, room 8919,"
After hanging up the phone, a smile of succeeded in her sche appeared on Elizabeth White’s face. Sitting cross-legged on the bed, Elizabeth White briefly planned before quickly jumping off the bed.
It was not even ten when the morning eting ended. Felix Shaw gave his assistant so quick instructions and then hurriedly left, driving to the farther hotel in the city. Celebrities coming to T City for promotions liked staying there.
Feeling urgent inside, Felix drove fast and reached the destination in just over ten minutes, a journey that usually took half an hour.
Walking into the hotel, Felix headed directly to the elevator, pressed the number key, then stepped back, his handso face mirrored in the tal door panel, looking even more icy.
The elevator stopped, Felix Shaw stepped out and thought of Elizabeth White’s extortion. A cold smile curled up at the corners of his lips. Originally, he could have sent soone to handle it. But he was worried that soone else might see his mother’s photographs. Since it was private, the fewer people who knew about it, the better.
Turning the corner of the corridor, far ahead he saw a woman standing in front of a hotel room, just having pressed the doorbell when a man’s arm pulled her inside.
Even though it was just a side profile, Felix Shaw still recognized the woman as Titus Zane. He called Nathan Moore, "Second Brother, co to the West Joy Hotel to catch an affair!"
He then walked past that room towards Elizabeth White’s room.
Before Felix Shaw had arrived, he had already called. Inside the room, Elizabeth White looked at herself in the mirror several tis, ensuring her makeup was proper before sitting down on the sofa.
Soon, the doorbell rang. Turning to look at the door, it rang several more tis before Elizabeth White got up to open it.
Elizabeth White wore a lake-blue velvet tracksuit, her long hair casually flowing over her shoulders, made up with invisible makeup, making her seem bare-faced unless looked at carefully.
Scanning Elizabeth White from top to bottom, seeing her not dressed in a transparent gauze dress as she had been before, Felix Shaw then stepped inside.
As soon as Elizabeth White closed the door, Felix Shaw turned around, one hand in his suit trouser pocket and the other hanging by his side, lips carrying an obvious cold sneer, "So, how much do you want?"
Elizabeth White admitted, this man Felix Shaw definitely had the charm to drive won crazy, whether he wore a mischievous smile on his face or, like now, was expressionless, he was so handso it was hard to look away.
Swallowing quietly, Elizabeth White smiled harmlessly and said, "Let’s sit down and talk about it slowly."
Knowing Elizabeth White wouldn’t easily give him the negatives, Felix Shaw glanced at her lightly and first walked into the small parlor.
