Filling the glass with foreign liquor and handing it to Nicholas Croft, Sophie Foster proactively clinked glasses with him, "Handso Uncle, here’s to being so handso you have no friends!"
Nicholas Croft was a bit at a loss whether to cry or laugh, "Are you cursing ?"
Sophie Foster looked at him as if he were an alien, "Handso Uncle? That’s how people talk these days, haven’t you heard?"
Nicholas Croft pursed his lips, raised the glass to his lips and took a small sip, then gestured at Sophie Foster, "I’ve heard, but isn’t that what you just said?"
"Handso Uncle, you’re really good at flirting!" Sophie Foster exclaid, confident that won wouldn’t have any immunity to such a charming and articulate man.
"Really?" Nicholas Croft feigned innocence, raising an eyebrow, while Sophie Foster, taking a sip of her drink, nodded in an exaggerated manner.
Nicholas Croft spread his empty arm in resignation, "But, I’m still single."
A single high-quality, golden bachelor is the biggest allure for won.
"How co?" As Nicholas Croft finished speaking, Sophie Foster exaggeratedly wrinkled her eyebrows, her astonished expression quite comical. Nicholas innocently spread his hands again, and Sophie gave him a once-over, "Handso Uncle, you... must be over thirty by now, right? By rights, with your success, your kids should be running errands by now."
Nicholas Croft realized the little kitten had so insight, even guessing his age correctly. He sighed with feigned helplessness, "There’s nothing I can do, I’m already an older young man."
"Uncle, maybe your standards are too high." Sophie Foster sipped her drink while saying this, her tongue casually darted out to swipe across her lips, a seemingly unintentional act that made Nicholas’s eyes dim slightly. He too brought the cup to his lips, taking a sip, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he swallowed more than just the amber liquid.
Seeing that Nicholas didn’t respond, Sophie Foster suddenly had a bold idea, leaning in slightly, she whispered, "Could it be... you have a hidden condition?"
She did rember that night when, in a mont of desperation, she hid in his arms, and he didn’t react for the longest ti.
"Cough, cough..." After Sophie Foster spoke, Nicholas Croft began to cough, holding his mouth as the liquor he had just sipped caught in his throat. Sophie quickly put down her glass, moved over, and started patting his chest while complaining.
"Uncle, you’re such a grown man, a hidden condition isn’t sothing to be ashad of, why get so worked up!"

Once he cald down, he grabbed Sophie Foster’s wrist, his handso face suddenly drawing close, and with mischief in his eyes as Sophie glared defensively, he said, "Who told you I have a hidden condition? Want to find a secluded spot to test it out?"
"Hehe..." Sophie Foster laughed awkwardly, subtly shimmying backward, "I was just guessing, just guessing, so... no need to get so worked up. Rest assured, even if you really have a hidden condition, I wouldn’t tell anyone..."

He really wanted to pin this little kitten down and prove right then and there whether he had a hidden condition!
When Sophie Foster forcefully pulled out her wrist, Nicholas released it, gritting his teeth, he said, "Little thing, next ti you talk carelessly, you won’t be let off so easily!"
"Hehe, I won’t, Handso Uncle, I won’t speak carelessly again." Sophie Foster scooted back again, maintaining a safe distance between them.
