The two words without any emotion carried an unquestionable authority. Titus Zane hesitated for a mont and then took a seat beside Nathan Moore. The latter glanced at Sophie Foster across from him and said, "Light a cigarette."
Titus Zane picked up the cigarette pack again, pulled out a cigarette, and was about to place it at Nathan Moore’s lips when the latter turned his gaze, "I said light a cigarette, what, didn’t you understand?"

I couldn’t fathom what tantrum this man was throwing again, not wanting to lose face in front of others, I placed the cigarette in my lips and lit it with the lighter, inhaling awkwardly before I choked and coughed, covering my mouth.
There was no comfort offered, and even as Titus Zane coughed, Nathan Moore’s gaze was filled with evident distaste. He took the cigarette from Titus Zane’s fingers along with the lighter, lit it at his own lips, while Titus Zane silently returned to the sofa to sit.
"Uncle Nicholas, Uncle Nathan seems to not quite like his wife." Sophie Foster whispered in Nicholas Croft’s ear, covering her lips. Nicholas Croft chuckled, glanced at Nathan Moore, and said, "Lara, light Uncle a cigarette."
Sophie Foster obliged, lighting a cigarette and taking a couple of drags before handing it to Nicholas Croft. Nicholas Croft accepted it, took a drag, then looked towards Nathan Moore.
The latter was expressionless, though it was clear his face looked far worse than before.
Evander Lancaster snickered quietly without saying a word. Felix Shaw organized his cards with a shake of his head, sneering, "Immature!"
To get petty over a woman with your own friends, truly low.
Initially, I thought Sophie Foster and Titus Zane didn’t get along well during their first eting, but who would’ve thought during their second eting, Sophie Foster brought Titus Zane to the bar where she was performing, along with Mia Foster.
It’s often said two won make a play, but the young Sophie Foster couldn’t stand watching Titus Zane be mistreated by Nathan Moore and urged her to run away from ho. Titus Zane rely smiled lightly and said, "I’ll consider it,"
The three won were having a great ti, especially in their own domain, until a sleazy guy interrupted, initially pestering Titus Zane, and upon seeing Sophie Foster, started spouting insults.
"You little wildcat, what, not earning tips today so you’re looking for a side job?" the man ca beside Sophie Foster, his smile sleazy.
Sophie Foster glared at the man with disdain, "Is it any of your business!" If it weren’t for the presence of her two older sisters, she might have already lashed out vulgarly at the sleazy man.
The man leered, looking Sophie Foster up and down, saying,
"It’s not my business, but... if you agree to sleep with tonight, I promise not to treat you poorly."
The man’s lewd words made Titus Zane and Mia Foster frown, just about to voice their reprimand, when Sophie Foster raised her chin disdainfully and said.
"Sis is pricey, I doubt you can afford!"
"Can’t afford you?" the sleazy man showed disdain, "Don’t act all high and mighty in front of , a cheap woman like you has probably been screwed rotten by n anyway..."
Sophie Foster, unable to take any more of the sleazy man’s insolence, grabbed a nearby bottle of Hennessy and swung it down, smashing it on the man’s head, causing him to clutch his head and collapse weakly.
Soone called the police, as a result, the three won were taken to the station.
Though Mia Foster’s family was well-off, she had just returned to City T and only knew a few friends in business, having no connections with the authorities.
And Titus Zane had spent most of her life abroad, living dostically for half a year, not really interacting with the outside world.
Fortunately, the sleazy man wasn’t seriously injured, so the police were preparing to release them after taking statents, but the dical expenses were to be covered by Sophie Foster.
