The aroma on Lin Nuan was a luring mix of tea and body wash. Fu Huai’an gently caressed her wrist and asked, “Don’t you believe me?”
Fu Huai’an intentionally lowered his voice and increased the tension between them.
Lin Nuan shook her head. “It’s not that I don’t believe you. I just… randomly searched for it.”
The way Fu Huai’an looked wearing his uniform with his face plastered as he stood in the sun had already bee a faded memory for Lin Nuan.
She suddenly recalled how she had searched for pictures of him wearing an army or bat uniform.
Fu Huai’an kept his gaze fixed on her pretty, delicate face. He simply stared into her eyes with all seriousness.
She couldn’t hold his gaze and felt uneasy. She finally managed to say, “I just wanted to see what you looked like in an army suit.”
Lin Nuan avoided his eyes, yet she still felt her ears flush. She felt like a thief caught in the act—there was both embarrassment and shame.
He flicked his cigarette into the cup and asked seriously, “Do you have… fantasies about army wear?”
His deep, magnetic voice, together with his words, gave her goosebumps.
“No way!”
Lin Nuan was so embarrassed she wanted to pull back her wrist. Instead, Fu Huai’an yanked her onto his lap and into his arms.
She placed her hands on his broad shoulders and was about to get up, right before Fu Huai’an put his hand on her thigh.
Seeing her blush instantly and look down while her eyelashes flickered, he couldn’t help but smile and say, “Why are you getting upset when I’m asking you a simple question?”
Lin Nuan was certain Fu Huai’an knew what she was upset about from his sly grin. Yet he still asked.
Fu Huai’an was way too straightforward when it came to doing the deed.
He didn’t use the vague tactics other men used when they pursued Lin Nuan. Instead, he cut straight to the chase and made himself clear that he enjoyed making love to her, and that he had a strong desire for her.
He could talk about kinks with her without even blinking!
“I just wanted to see what you looked like in an army suit. It’s not my… kink…” Lin Nuan said angrily as she blushed and looked straight into his eyes. Yet she couldn’t intimidate him with her shy look and tears in her eyes—it was instead a lovely sight for him to see.

Fu Huai’an tossed his half-finished cigarette into the ashtray and put his hand behind the back of her head, bringing her face closer to his.
Lin Nuan had both panic and anticipation in her eyes. Her little hands grasped his broad shoulders, and her face nearly began to burn.
Their breaths intertwined and before their lips touched, Lin Nuan couldn’t breathe properly and gasped harder.
Fu Huai’an kissed her soft lips and opened them up as smoothly as ever.
He executed a French kiss, and Lin Nuan couldn’t help but move her hands from his shoulders to the back of his neck as she tugged on his broad collar.
His hand reached into her blue pajamas, and the warmth of his hands made her moan uncontrollably…
