It was another sleepless night. Ethan Grant smoked heavily in the room, turning it into a haze, and heard the commotion of Serena Sullivan leaving.
He didn’t know how long he had been smoking when he opened the door and went out.
Outside, Mrs. Zimrman was directing the other household staff to clean when she saw Ethan Grant co out. She quickly put on a flattery smile.
"Mr. Grant, breakfast is ready."
Ethan Grant didn’t respond. He turned his head to look behind him, his gaze landing on the guest room door. His heartstrings were pulled, and raising his foot, he stopped in front of Serena’s room door.
Inside, it was still untidy. Apart from the bed being ssy, it looked clean and tidy.
"Madam went out early this morning."
Mrs. Zimrman approached, secretly observing Ethan Grant’s expression. She had been feeling guilty these past two days.
Last ti, Zoe Quinn ca over, not only to take Serena away from "Willow Yarrow" to attend a party but also added her on WeChat.
On WeChat, Zoe Quinn sent her a sum of money, asking her to help with sothing.
She said that once the task was done, she would give more money.
Everyone likes money. The main thing is that having spent many years at the old mansion, she knew Mr. Grant and Mrs. Grant’s attitude towards Serena.
Before Serena’s legs were crippled, they opposed her, and four years later, with Serena becoming a disabled person, the opposition from the old mansion was even stronger.
Serena wanting to beco the genuine Mrs. Grant seed almost impossible.
So she took the money and, wearing a mask, recorded a video as Zoe Quinn had instructed.
Initially, she thought Serena would be kicked out of The Grant Corporation by Mr. Grant due to her plagiarism, and she wouldn’t be able to stay at "Willow Yarrow" either. Who knew she’d wait endlessly only to hear that Zoe Quinn had plagiarized Mr. Grant and slandered Serena, leaving her anxious and frightened?
Afterward, Serena and Mr. Grant ca back, both remaining silent as they went to their respective rooms to rest. She claid she was unwell and hid in the staff room.
Co this morning, she took advantage of Serena’s absence to act quickly.
"Sir, there’s sothing I have been thinking about that I must tell you."
Mrs. Zimrman spoke while checking Ethan Grant’s expression. Seeing he had no reaction, she continued, "Madam received a phone call early in the morning and went out. I overheard her saying that she seed to be going to the airport to drop soone off."
"It’s that man who ca to our ho last ti."
Man?
At the ntion of these two words, Ethan Grant reacted. He turned his head and interrupted Mrs. Zimrman in a calm voice, "Finn Chandler!"
To the airport to send soone? Having co by "Willow Yarrow" again, Ethan Grant could only think of Finn Chandler.
Finn Chandler left so quickly?
This wasn’t the main point. The main point was that Serena went to see him again!
Ethan Grant’s expression darkened as he took out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it, slowly smoking.
His smoking addiction was getting worse. Seeing Serena, chatting with her, or hearing about her, he couldn’t help but smoke.
These cigarettes were smoked one after another, long beyond his control.
"Yes!"
Seeing Ethan Grant angry, the corners of Mrs. Zimrman’s mouth curled up into a smile.
No husband would ignore if his wife was getting too close to another man, especially when Serena’s ambiguous relationship with this Finn Chandler had been unclear since four years ago. Not to ntion, who knew to what extent their relationship had developed outside over the past four years?
"The night before Miss Quinn and Mrs. Quinn ca over, that man with the last na Chandler sent her ho alone. They stayed in the room for a long ti before coming out."
To convince Ethan Grant, Mrs. Zimrman even opened the photos on her phone to show him.
"Young Master, look."
Mrs. Zimrman changed the way she addressed him to be more familiar.
"She told us not to disturb them, alone together, who knows what they did!"
"Young Master, you’ve treated her so well, and she’s still hooking up with other n. It’s truly shaless."
