Zoe Quinn directly admitted to it, and because of the suicide incident, she retained so people’s support and sympathy.
However, this matter still affected her to so extent, and even more so for Ruth Hale.
Joel Quinn brought people over, so of whom Serena Sullivan knew. They were either middle managent or high-level at The Sullivan Corporation. She brought up the incident at The Grant Corporation’s final eting in front of so many people, just to remind them that the so-called "authority" was nothing much.

Ruth Hale sensed sothing was wrong and imdiately reprimanded.

Serena turned her head to look at the annoyed Ruth Hale. After saying one word, tears began to fall again. She didn’t explain to Ruth, but instead asked Joel Quinn.
"Uncle Joel, it wasn’t Zoe who plagiarized the works; I must have been accused of plagiarism."
"Ethan Grant might also kick out of The Grant Corporation and might not even want anymore."
At this point, Serena cried even harder, tears streaming down as a girl in a black suit who had been silent handed her a tissue in the office.
Serena paused for a mont, took the tissue, and saw the girl’s expression was very calm.
While acting this scene, she had thought that this girl was a variable.
If the girl sided with Ruth to accuse her, it wouldn’t have much impact; she could still make The Sullivan Corporation’s managent believe what she said.
Unexpectedly, or rather it was within her expectations, the girl did not side with Ruth.
"Maybe I embarrassed her before, so she doesn’t like and is helping Zoe slander ."
Serena sobbed while wiping her tears with the tissue.
Ruth wanted to refute, wanted to scold Serena for talking nonsense, but the reality was known to everyone. If she yelled out, it would be like walking into a slap.
Angrily, she moved her mouth, wanting to say sothing, but when she caught Joel Quinn’s glance, she restrained herself.

Joel Quinn realized he had been led by the nose by Serena and tried saying nice things about Ruth, but how could Serena give him the opportunity!
Serena’s cries rang out.

Serena turned her head to look at Ruth, her tear-streaked face making Ruth’s newly cald expression darken again.
The others followed Serena’s gaze toward Ruth.
When they looked, they happened to see Ruth glaring at Serena with eyes as if wanting to eat her.
Therefore, without Serena speaking, her tears and grievances appeared very real to everyone.
"Today I ca to The Sullivan Corporation to learn, and Ms. Hale even told to get out." Serena didn’t give Joel Quinn a chance to speak as she sobbed twice more and said sadly.
"What!"
Joel Quinn exclaid in surprise. He faced Ruth Hale with displeasure, looking at her angrily as she got more upset.
Ruth Hale took a step back under Joel’s gaze and hastily explained, "I didn’t say that!"
Even if she had said it, Ruth wouldn’t be foolish enough to admit it in front of Joel Quinn and The Sullivan Corporation’s managent.
Joel Quinn had long considered The Sullivan Corporation his own, but he cared about his reputation and feared rumors reaching Claire Sullivan’s ears.
"No!"
Serena scoffed coldly, tears rolling down one by one, "Ms. Hale, do you dare to swear to the heavens?"
"If you haven’t said these things, then let your daughter et a bad end!"
This sentence Serena said quickly, catching Ruth off guard.
"Serena, you’re truly vicious!"
After shouting angrily, Ruth suddenly reacted to what Serena had said: "Let your daughter et a bad end"!
She, Ruth Hale, had always been single, so where would she get a daughter!
