"Serena." Joel Quinn didn’t continue speaking right away; he sighed, then gradually approached Serena Sullivan.
As he leaned closer, Serena instinctively rolled her wheelchair back, but before she could move very far, the armrest was grasped by him.
Serena looked up and saw Joel Quinn smiling at her, his gaze lingering over her body.
"Serena, I really didn’t an it."
"I’ve arranged everything for you at The Sullivan Corporation."
Joel Quinn spoke warmly, his gaze slowly drifting to Serena’s neck exposed in the air, his smile deepening, as he lifted his hand and placed it on Serena’s shoulder.
Serena’s body went rigid abruptly, and she turned her head, eyes gathering a coldness that shot towards Joel Quinn.
In front of all these people, Joel Quinn, showing tact, withdrew his hand and continued, "Just do your work well at The Sullivan Corporation."
"President Quinn." Ruth Hale called out angrily, her eyes fixed intently on the shoulder Joel Quinn had touched just monts ago, as she gritted her teeth resentfully.
"She’s just talking nonsense."
Seeing Joel Quinn changing his plans, wanting to place Serena in an important position, Ruth Hale spoke anxiously.
"Ms. Hale ans that I’m just a cripple not worthy of working at The Sullivan Corporation," Serena asked with a cold smile.
Her voice gradually turned icy, reminding Joel Quinn, and all the managent at The Sullivan Corporation.
"This is the company my grandfather built, it’s my mother’s!"
Even though Joel Quinn has toiled for The Sullivan Corporation over the years, Serena would never give the company to soone like him.
"Yes." Joel Quinn responded with a smile, although Serena’s words made him uncomfortable, he had to acknowledge it in front of so many people.
Ah, Serena, you are truly even more interesting than four years ago. Joel Quinn looked at Serena with a smile once again.
Seeing that Joel Quinn had agreed with Serena, and no one else stood up to oppose her, Ruth Hale gritted her teeth, suddenly thought of sothing, stood up and said solemnly, "This is The Sullivan Corporation, and even if you take over the position of general manager, it’s justified."
"But, Miss Sullivan, you can’t run rampant here."

Serena asked with a face full of confusion, "I just arrived at The Sullivan Corporation today."
As she said this, others nodded in agreent, to the point where even a manager spoke to Ruth Hale.
"Designer Hale’s past matters should be left in the past."
"An adult shouldn’t hold grudges against a minor offender."
"Besides, at The Grant Corporation’s finalization eting, you randomly slandered people, almost ruining Miss Sullivan’s reputation."
Ruth Hale hadn’t said anything before she was already being rebuked by the managers of The Sullivan Corporation to the point of almost spitting blood.
She took a deep breath, looked at Serena, and said loudly, "She just hit ."

The statent sounded quite humorous.
"She made her maid hit ." Ruth Hale pointed at Yaya next to Serena, stating solemnly.
After she said that, everyone looked at Yaya.
"Yaya, did you hit her?"
Yaya shook her head, while Serena smiled and said to Ruth Hale, "She said she didn’t hit you."
"Where did she hit you?"
