After the commotion outside subsided, Ruth Hale slowly walked over to Joel Quinn’s side, "You believe .
She spoke softly, and sohow, the atmosphere around them began to change.

Ruth Hale grew angrier the more she thought about it, feeling both wronged and scared inside,

He wanted Serena Sullivan to know as soon as she entered The Sullivan Corporation whose realm this was, who was the master.
Ruth Hale did well, first angering Serena Sullivan, and when he brought the managent in the conference room over to watch the spectacle, hadn’t even spoken when Serena Sullivan began to cry.
Serena Sullivan first gave him a blow and made it impossible for him to save face in front of so many people.
"Stupid fool, they’re all stupid fools." Joel Quinn cursed angrily once more, pulling out a cigarette from his pocket, lighting it up to smoke, utterly ignoring Ruth Hale as she coughed repeatedly from the smoke.

Joel Quinn included Zoe Quinn in his rebuke, "Useless thing."

He had Zoe Quinn find Chester to ruin Serena Sullivan, but ultimately found herself sent to the police station.
Had her take Ruth Hale to The Grant Corporation to destroy Serena Sullivan, only to end up with the charge of plagiarism.
The more Joel Quinn thought about it, the more irked he beca, smoking harder.
"Joel, I’m sorry, it’s my fault." Ruth Hale didn’t argue with Joel Quinn but cried defending Zoe Quinn, "Zoe is no match for Serena Sullivan."

Claire Sullivan is so much easier to deal with and is now firmly under their control together.
"Hmm." After slapping Ruth Hale and fiercely finishing a cigarette, Joel Quinn’s mood improved sowhat.
He turned his head to see Ruth Hale crying, then noticed her reaching out to hold his hand, discarding the cigarette he was holding on the ground and extinguishing it.
"Joel." Feeling her body heat up under Joel Quinn’s gaze, Ruth Hale softened her voice, her face turning red.
"Go, lie down." Joel Quinn said in a calm voice, watching Ruth Hale obediently walk to the table, with the image of Serena Sullivan’s fair neck flashing in his mind.
