"Don’t worry, I’ll take care of Serena."
Joel Quinn said, picking up the food and putting it into his mouth. The at was tender, and a vision of a pale, radiant neck appeared before his eyes.

"Don’t worry, she’ll understand your intentions." Joel Quinn put down his chopsticks and embraced the tearful Claire Sullivan.

The ringing of the phone interrupted their conversation.
Joel Quinn glanced at the phone and hung up. When it rang again after a while, Claire Sullivan looked at him curiously.
"Soone from the company." Joel Quinn said with a smile, not understanding why Ruth Hale was calling him at this mont.
"There must be sothing important; you should answer it first."
Claire Sullivan said softly.
Seeing the phone still vibrating, Joel Quinn smiled at Claire Sullivan, got up, and went to the side to answer the call.
"I told you not to disturb after work."
"What did you say."
Hearing Ruth Hale’s words on the other end, Joel Quinn asked in shock.
