Joel Quinn initially had no reaction to what Serena Sullivan said, then Serena continued, "When did I ever say the person in the video was you!"
Joel Quinn stared blankly at Serena Sullivan, whose eyes were filled with amusent, and his hands suddenly went cold.
"Ms. Hale may only be a consultant for The Sullivan Corporation, but doing such things in the office is wrong. If the video were exposed, it would affect The Sullivan Corporation’s reputation."
After Serena finished speaking, Joel Quinn suddenly realized, damn, he had fallen into her trap.
From the beginning, she knew that with just his back, giving it to Claire Sullivan wouldn’t be of any use.
So, she wasn’t going to give it to Claire; she was targeting Ruth Hale.
"Uncle, I think you should handle this matter seriously."
Serena’s smile at the corner of her mouth faded as she reminded him.
She’s not so stupid as to give such a useless video to Claire Sullivan.
If she did, Ruth Hale would definitely run to Claire Sullivan and cry, saying she was being slandered, and then bring her new boyfriend to Claire Sullivan. Claire believing her would be a miracle.
Instead of exposing Ruth Hale and Joel Quinn’s affair imdiately, it’s better to remove Ruth Hale from The Sullivan Corporation first.
"Serena, Designer Hale has done..."
Removing Ruth Hale would be like clipping one of Joel Quinn’s wings; how could Joel Quinn possibly give in!
"I know." Serena interrupted, "Ms. Hale has done a lot for The Sullivan Corporation’s design departnt, and her contributions are not small."
"It’s not good to fire her."
"Serena, it’s good that you understand." Joel Quinn said, feeling more and more flustered inside. Looking at Serena, smiling in her wheelchair, he felt trapped in her sche, sinking deeper and deeper.
"However, she’s not an employee of The Sullivan Corporation, is she?"
Serena shifted the conversation, "I can see Uncle is also in a difficult position; your relationship with her is quite good, right?"
"What do you an good, we’re just ordinary colleagues." Joel Quinn quickly explained, trying to clear up any association with Ruth Hale, "She’s best friends with your mom, so it’s not just about the company, but also for your mom’s sake."

As Serena finished speaking, she looked up and smiled at Joel Quinn.
Joel Quinn was already angered by her; he spoke coldly and fiercely, "You’re threatening !"
He really underestimated Serena!
"Uncle, what threat? I’m doing it for The Sullivan Corporation’s good."
Serena asked innocently, "Where am I wrong in doing this?"
"Do you really want everyone to see Designer Hale ssing around with relationships at The Sullivan Corporation? Do you want the company you’ve worked so hard to build to collapse?"
Serena’s continuous questioning made Joel Quinn’s face turn even more ashen.
"Fine."
Joel Quinn gritted his teeth and said bitterly.
"Uncle, there’s still ti to think about it, no rush." Serena said with a smile and had Yaya push her out.
Just before she reached the door, Joel Quinn called after her, "Serena."
Serena turned her head, and Joel Quinn had already put on his usual gentle smile; this family was really good at changing faces, shifting expressions so quickly.
"Here’s your watch back."
He maintained his smile as he walked up to Serena and, lowering his head, saw her fair fingers and smiled wider, bending down to try to place the watch on Serena’s wrist.
"What are you doing!"
As he touched her fingers, Serena swiftly withdrew her hand and asked sternly.
