It was the sound of wheels rolling over the ground, the noise of cars crashing through the Grant Family’s gate, making everyone in the residence fall silent and look at each other.
Blinding light followed in, illuminating the entire hall as if it were dayti.
No, more than the brightness of dayti, it was cold and chilling here.
As everyone was stunned, the servants outside scread sharply, desperately running around.
The sound of the wheels beca even more shrill, and Renee Grant beca annoyed, wondering who dared to cause trouble at the Grant Family, not knowing that Mr. and Mrs. Sterling were visiting them!
She stood up, ready to go out and see what was happening, but the bright light shone even brighter in the hall, and an even louder "clang" sounded as the car crashed through the Grant Family’s front door.
The car pounded through the door panel without braking, heading straight for Renee Grant in the middle of the hall.
"Ethan Grant!"
Renee Grant saw the person in the car was Ethan Grant and exclaid in panic.
The person inside paid no attention to Renee Grant’s screams and anger, still charging at her. Renee’s heart filled with terror, she tried to run but could only retreat, unfortunately into the wall behind her. Seeing no escape, she turned back only to see the blinding light piercing closer, her legs buckled, pressed against the wall, her face pale as snow, and she fainted with fear.
The car braked just in ti to trap Renee Grant between the hood and the wall.
The atmosphere in the Grant Family suddenly tightened, everyone tensed up, as they all had thought Ethan Grant would really crash the car into Renee.
If that were the case, the Grant Family would instantly lose a son and a daughter, and be severed tonight.
"Ethan Grant!"
The elder Mr. Grant’s face was dark and grim, he stood up, seeing Ethan Grant getting out with a baseball bat, trembling as he picked up a soup bowl from the table and hurled it at Ethan.
Ethan Grant didn’t even glance at it as he blocked with the bat.
The soup bowl was hit towards the stairs, splattering soup, right onto Mr. Sterling who had just changed clothes and was coming down.
Seeing Ethan dare to block the soup bowl he threw, and then seeing Ethan’s cold, nacing face as he stepped closer, he shouted sternly, "What do you intend to do, smash the Grant Family?"
Facing this son, he had once been the victor.
Young Ethan Grant was arrogant and rebellious, but held no real power.
He cut off Ethan’s funds, he could lock him up, he could even tacitly let Renee drug Ethan.
Simply because, deep down, he saw Ethan Grant as his own possession, wanting Ethan to follow his arrangents.

He first fell in love with Serena Sullivan, a girl that the elder Mr. Grant didn’t approve of.
The Sullivan Family in Solaria was at best third-rate, how could they compare to prestigious families?
He believed that as long as he issued the order, Ethan Grant would definitely break up with Serena.
So he let them date, waiting for the right mont to force Ethan to break up.
When that mont arrived, he realized it was too late.
"You’re right!"
The elder Mr. Grant glared at Ethan as Ethan walked up to him.
This son had unknowingly changed, becoming soone completely unfamiliar and even making him feel afraid!
"I ca here to smash the Grant Family."
