Serena spoke lightly, her gaze indifferent as water, yet it was unsettling to behold.
"No, it’s not." The Matron Grant hurriedly said, thinking Serena cared about their words, "You and Ethan should be together, don’t mind them."
"I am speaking the truth."
These words left not only The Matron Grant baffled, but Anna Morgan was also stunned.
She could feel that Serena couldn’t possibly have no place for Ethan in her heart.

If she didn’t love him, she shouldn’t have returned to Solaria; if she hadn’t, perhaps in five or ten years, her son could have forgotten her.

The chilling words left The Matron Grant stunned.

However, she opened her mouth but couldn’t guarantee, knowing Ethan’s father’s and Renee Grant’s hatred for Serena, they might very well have orchestrated the car accident four years ago.
"Matron Grant." Serena sneered, "Since you dared to harm so ruthlessly, you should have known that what goes around, cos around."
"Having destroyed into what I am now, should I hide away and grant your wish to see Ethan marry and have children?"
The more Serena spoke, the colder her tone beca.
She never was soone with boundless kindness; others had killed her child and crippled her legs, she couldn’t simply pretend none of it ever happened.
The Matron Grant’s face changed; she understood Serena’s answer.
