Before the party, Finn Chandler ntioned Serena Sullivan would be coming.
"Her mom asked her to return to the Imperial Capital to get married!"
Finn Chandler always liked to play it cool alone and wouldn’t share a lot with them.
He used to talk more with Serena Sullivan, but now with Serena in her current state, she keeps it all to herself.
"Get married?" Serena Sullivan paused, "Her mom has co to her senses."
"It’s not about coming to her senses, it’s about having her bring a girl back ho."
When Anna Morgan said this, Serena Sullivan’s eyebrows furrowed tightly.
Bringing a girl ho, wouldn’t this ruin soone else and harm Finn Chandler himself?
"Finn Chandler refused, and the two were fiercely arguing over the phone." At this ti, it was when Anna Morgan went to find Finn Chandler to hang out, and overheard Finn Chandler’s phone call, only then did she learn about this.
"Finn Chandler has sacrificed himself for them, why should he be forced to do sothing else he doesn’t want to do."
Anna Morgan said angrily.
Anna Morgan didn’t understand the reasons behind it because she grew up in a happy family.
Mr. Monroe and Mrs. Monroe had a great relationship, and she was pampered by an older brother.
Both Serena Sullivan and Finn Chandler envied Anna Morgan.
The party began with dance music, and Mr. Sterling led Mrs. Sterling in the opening dance. Shortly, many people joined them in the center of the dance floor.
The lights were dim, and while chatting leisurely with Anna Morgan, Serena Sullivan sensed soone approaching.
She moved her wheelchair aside, not noticing the person coming from behind.
The wheelchair collided, and a voice exclaid "Ah!".
"I’m sorry." Serena Sullivan quickly apologized. As the music ended, the person who was hit saw Serena Sullivan in a wheelchair and imdiately beca enraged.
"Are you blind? Didn’t you see standing here?"
She shouted loudly, causing the surroundings to quiet down. The lights ca on, and everyone’s eyes turned toward Serena Sullivan.
"Serena truly didn’t see, why are you being so harsh?" Anna Morgan went over to shield Serena Sullivan, becoming irritated at hearing anyone be harsh to Serena.
"You collide with soone and still have the audacity?"
"A cripple, what are you doing here! Just causing trouble for others!"
The woman, seeing everyone looking over, raised her voice even more, and her insults grew nastier.
"Who are you calling a cripple!"
Ethan Grant’s voice responded. He dared not stay far from Serena Sullivan, pulling Carter Lockwood over to watch from the side.
One watching Serena Sullivan, the other watching Anna Morgan.
He approached, disregarding the occasion, and kicked the woman.
On the side, watching intently, those observing saw clearly that it was this woman who walked over intentionally, purposely letting Serena collide with her.
Clearly a setup, or rather, she deliberately wanted to cause sothing.
"Ouch!"
The woman fell to the ground, shouting out loud, "Struck and then had soone hit , just because she’s disabled!"
Everyone at the party knew Ethan Grant, and knowing that it was him still wanted trouble; sothing was amiss in this situation.
Carter Lockwood ca over, speaking quietly, "This woman is from the third-rate Keaton Family, notorious for being aggressive and abrasive."
Serena Sullivan moved back a bit and collided with the virago of Solaria—everything felt too coincidental!
Ethan Grant’s expression imdiately darkened, and he raised his head through the crowd, his gaze landing on Mr. Sterling not far away.
Mr. Sterling kept a cold face, equally glaring at Ethan Grant with icy eyes.
"The Keaton Family, is it?"
Ethan Grant’s voice lowered, and the Keaton woman got up, sitting, saying, "This is ridiculous."
"I was hit by a cripple, and now you want to do sothing to our Keaton Family!"
"Everyone, co quickly and see what makes this cripple so special, how she can seduce n!"
