Felix Lockwood forcefully pulled her away, and once he had separated from Renee Grant, he staggered a few steps back.
The guests at the entrance cleared a path as Carter Lockwood arrived.
Carter hadn’t expected Ethan Grant to directly use his brother, and he hurried over to take Felix to the hospital.
"Big brother, I’ll take you to the hospital."
Carter said as he supported Felix, and Felix nodded in agreent.
If today he truly ended up in bed with the girl in the lounge due to being drugged, he would never forgive himself for the rest of his life.
Back then, after a drunken night with Renee Grant, he had no choice but to marry her. How could he make the sa mistake now?
Seeing Carter arrive and taking Felix away, Renee blocked their path, her eyes red as she said, "You can’t leave until we straighten things out today."

Renee shouted loudly; at this mont, she didn’t care about her dignity and only wanted an explanation from Felix.
She had been so good to Felix, even going so far as to harm and use her own brother for his future. What more could he be unsatisfied with?
"Renee, are you blind? Can’t you see my brother was drugged?"
Carter replied coldly; he always found Renee disagreeable. If he had been older back then, he would have definitely stood up to stop this marriage.

Renee stared at Felix in disbelief and only then noticed his flushed face, realizing sothing was wrong.
Her face instantly broke into a smile as she moved to support Felix, saying, "Husband, I misunderstood you."
Her face changed so quickly that Felix frowned deeply, refusing to let Renee touch him as he pushed her away.
"Renee, I’ve warned you before not to ddle in Ethan’s affairs. But you insisted on ignoring my warnings."
"You’re lucky he still had so sense, otherwise today I might have ruined that young girl’s innocence."
If Ethan Grant had given him a stronger drug, or locked this lounge room, or sent him to a room upstairs, then today he definitely wouldn’t have been easily discovered, leaving Renee to cause a scene.
"So it was Ethan Grant who drugged you."
Renee’s focus was that Ethan was the one responsible.
Watching Felix being taken away by Carter, she chased after them but then rembered Ethan drugging Felix, imdiately turning back to the banquet hall to confront Ethan.
"Ethan."
Renee stord into the banquet hall, instantly becoming the center of attention.
The guests here all knew about the incident that happened in the lounge earlier, and it was being spread with great exaggeration.
Rumors that Felix had already slept with soone, that Renee had burst in on them during the act, and that Renee had scratched up Felix’s face.
Anyway, stories always gravitated towards more passionate and scandalous directions, especially when it ca to affairs with won.
"Was it you who drugged your brother-in-law?"
Renee shouted loudly, wanting all the guests to know that if Felix did such a thing, it was instigated by Ethan.
But if it was Ethan’s doing, wouldn’t their family reputation be affected too?
Renee thought about this and then directed her gaze down to Serena Sullivan.
"It was you, it must have been you who pushed Ethan to do such things."
"Oh, Serena, I disagreed with you marrying into the Grant family, and you instigate Ethan to do such despicable things!"
"Shaless!"
Serena was taken aback, wondering how she suddenly had beco the target!
