"Serena Sullivan’s work is excellent," the HR manager explained. "Assistant Sterling also said she is suitable for the Chief Designer position."
"Chief Designer!" Ethan Grant retorted coldly, "Who allowed you to choose her!"
The harsh voice startled the managers present, especially the three managers in the interview, who broke out in a cold sweat.
Who allowed them to pick the candidate? Wasn’t it Mr. Grant himself?
When the conference room fell into a deathly silence, the door opened, and the managers saw Yvette Sterling co in and looked toward her.
Assistant Sterling is the closest person to Mr. Grant, hopefully here to save them.
"Sir."
Yvette Sterling opened the door and felt the chill on her face, so she had to brave herself and go in.
Ethan Grant glanced at her, too lazy to respond with a word.
"Madam went to the hospital."
Yvette Sterling said softly, causing Ethan Grant to react in confusion, "Why did she go to the hospital!"
"Young Master Chambers arranged for her to see a doctor."
Upon hearing this, Ethan Grant felt a tug at his heart; she had taken leave to go to the hospital for an examination, saying she had an appointnt with a doctor.

Ethan Grant didn’t want to continue the eting and stood up, ready to leave. The HR manager mustered the courage to ask, "Mr. Grant, I’ll replace Serena Sullivan right away!"
Mr. Grant was furious about Serena Sullivan joining The Grant Corporation, so as his subordinates, they naturally wanted to act according to his wishes.
Ethan Grant stopped in his tracks, turned around, and coldly looked at the HR manager, who imdiately felt sharp blades of cold directed at him.
He looked around at everyone in the conference room and quietly said, "You try it!"
Although these three words sounded light, they were laden with tension, causing everyone in the conference room to start buzzing, discussing what Mr. Grant’s words really ant.

Claire Sullivan had gone to The Sullivan Corporation in the morning, worked for a while, then rushed to the hospital to see Zoe Quinn.
The injuries on Zoe Quinn’s face pained her, and she had a sleepless night.
Carrying her bag, she headed to Zoe Quinn’s ward and looked up, seeing Serena Sullivan coming around the corner in her wheelchair, catching her eye.

Seeing Serena Sullivan appear, Claire Sullivan quickened her pace, catching up.
"How dare you co here!"
Her first words were charged with fury.
Serena Sullivan had just finished calling the bodyguard when she saw Claire Sullivan. She smiled slightly and greeted, "Good morning, Mom."
As she intended to move forward, Claire Sullivan grabbed the wheelchair and, with a cold face, commanded, "Go, apologize to Zoe!"
