Ruth Hale furiously reprimanded Claire Sullivan, and Claire glanced at her, still without responding.
Ruth assud Claire felt guilty, so she spoke more passionately, "And Joel!"
"All these years, how has he treated you? You know it very well."
"If you really divorce him, where would you find such a good man!"
"You have such a strong young lady’s temper, and all these years, he’s been putting up with you, indulging you."
Ruth pointed annoyedly at Serena Sullivan’s nurous faults, while Claire appeared calm on the surface, but was very disdainful inside.

In front of Joel Quinn, Ruth Hale, and Zoe Quinn, when has she ever spoken harshly? Whatever these three wanted, how could she refuse them anything!

Ruth adopted a diator’s stance, advising Claire Sullivan.
"Apologize?" Claire Sullivan asked back quietly.
"Yes, apologize." Ruth said seriously, "Frankly speaking, for hurting the two of them this badly this ti, just apologizing and buying things is obviously not enough."
"I heard The Sullivan Corporation was sold for a lot of money."
"Serena Sullivan sold it," Claire Sullivan corrected.
"All the money is with her!" Ruth remarked discontentedly, such a large sum ended up with a useless person.
"How can you be so foolish! Giving all that money to her."
"A married daughter is like water thrown out, you gave it all to her, afterward she won’t care about your life or death."
"I only have a daughter." Claire replied lightly, the more she clearly sees Ruth’s true colors, the more she despises her past self.
Such a face as Ruth’s must have appeared countless tis in front of her, yet she never saw through it.
Ruth mistook Claire’s words for aning Zoe Quinn, she thought for a mont, "Zoe is certainly different from Serena."
"Although Zoe is to get married, she’s always been very filial to you, not like Serena who severed mother-daughter ties with you."
"You must get all the money back."
That much money, even if she gets a quarter, she wouldn’t be able to spend it all.
"Can’t get it back." Claire responded, she never intended to ask for it.
It was Serena’s rightful due, that man’s gift to his own daughter, no matter the sches of those with the surna Xu, the money given to Serena should be accepted.
What he owed Serena wasn’t sothing as simple as money!
"She won’t give it?"
Ruth presud Claire had gone to request it, and Serena refused. She considered it for a mont, knowing that Serena would be difficult to deal with, especially with Ethan Grant beside her.
"Here’s what we’ll do, after shopping, we’ll go find her."
"Don’t worry, with here, I’ll help you get the money back."
In her few sentences, Ruth didn’t forget about shopping at the mall; she hadn’t shopped in too long and got itchy seeing the jewelry outside. She saw the latest bag in yesterday’s magazine, just too beautiful, later she’ll have Claire buy it together.
"Once you get the money back, Joel and Zoe might not forgive you so quickly, you should be generous and give them half."
Ruth actually wanted to suggest all of it should be given to Joel Quinn and Zoe Quinn.
The Sullivan Corporation originally belonged to Joel Quinn; without him, could it have sold for so much money?
