The gentleman spoke, and Yvette Sterling hurried to comply.
"Mr. Grant!"
Felicity Sterling was startled. In the Imperial Capital, she had heard about Ethan Grant’s affection for Serena Sullivan, but she couldn’t believe that Ethan Grant would care much for a woman who had lost her legs!
She forced a smile, slightly displeased as she said, "There really is a misunderstanding between Miss Sullivan and ."
"There’s no need to ruin the relationship between the Grant and Sterling families over a misunderstanding."
Felicity Sterling stepped forward, maintaining a few steps’ distance from Ethan Grant.
She wasn’t visibly angry, but deliberately emphasized the "Grant-Sterling" connection.
If Ethan Grant hadn’t considered the Sterling family’s status, he would have declared that no person with the surna Sterling was allowed in areas controlled by The Grant Corporation in Solaria, effectively driving The Sterling Family out of restaurants, hotels, and malls in Solaria.
This bit of respect, Ethan Grant offered.
As Felicity Sterling approached, he suddenly slled the strong scent of her perfu. He frowned and backed away behind Serena Sullivan, disliking being close to other won.
"Yvette." To him, it’s immaterial whether it was a misunderstanding; anything that displeased Serena wasn’t a misunderstanding!
He didn’t want to converse with Felicity Sterling and continued speaking to Yvette Sterling, "Fire them all."
He was referring to the store’s staff.
"Mr. Grant!"
The staff were flustered, quickly explaining, "We were thinking of the company’s interests."
How could Mr. Grant fire them all for a single woman?
"First, she is my wife! Please address her as ’Mrs. Grant’!"
The constant calling of "Miss Sullivan" irked him imnsely.
He and Serena had held a wedding ceremony and signed a marriage agreent; they were only missing a certificate!
She was his wife, Mrs. Grant!
"Second, my wife’s happiness is most important!"
After speaking, Ethan Grant’s face transford from cold to one of a smile as he asked Serena Sullivan, "Do you want to take over this store’s clothes?"
He more so wanted to ask Serena if his performance had been satisfactory!
In front of others, he was the aloof, inscrutable Mr. Grant. But with Serena, he simply wanted to make her happy, even if she asked him to roll around on the floor.
In the pursuit of making his wife happy, Ethan Grant had no sha or limits!
"No need."
Serena Sullivan replied, "I want to go back."
She had co to the mall, bought his clothes, and was indifferent about herself.
The number of clothes she had purchased was more than she could ever wear.
"Alright!"
Ethan Grant smiled warmly and replied gently, as he wheeled Serena Sullivan out.
Felicity Sterling was overlooked by them. As Ethan Grant passed by her, she stepped forward again, "Mr..."
The words "Grant" barely left her lips as Ethan wheeled Serena to the side, fearful of Felicity’s touch.
Seeing Ethan Grant avoid Felicity Sterling like she was a plague, Anna Morgan lifted her head triumphantly and smiled at Felicity.
If you bully her Serena, then I’ll let Ethan co and handle it.
After being so ignored by Ethan Grant, the Sterling heiress couldn’t bear it; regardless of her excellent upbringing, her face paled.
This was the first confrontation, and despite Serena Sullivan doing nothing, Felicity felt utterly defeated.
Ethan Grant wheeled Serena to the car parked below. Anna Morgan wanted to tag along with Willow Yarrow for dinner, but Ethan Grant wouldn’t let her into the car.
"Miss Monroe, I’ll have soone take you back," he said.
Anna Morgan looked at Ethan Grant, then leaned forward to gaze at Serena Sullivan inside the car, wishing to have a chat with her.
"I want Serena."
Having not seen Serena Sullivan for a day, Ethan Grant missed her dearly. Inviting Anna Morgan over would disrupt their ti together.
