Zoe Quinn continued, addressing the person entirely as Sean Lockwood’s wife.
"Sister, you can’t compete with Miss Sterling."
Zoe Quinn added another sentence.
The Grant Family intended to have an alliance by marriage with The Sterling Family, which Zoe Quinn learned from Sean Lockwood, and the source of the information was Renee Grant.

She reached out and grabbed Sean Lockwood’s clothes, crying.
Sean Lockwood would never allow anyone to bully Zoe just because of their power. He turned his head to comfort Zoe.
Tears fell from Zoe Quinn’s eyes as she looked at Sean Lockwood with admiration, causing Sean Lockwood’s back to straighten further, and his resolve to protect the fragile Zoe strengthened!
"Don’t be afraid, I’m here! No one can touch you!"
"Boom," before he could reason with Ethan Grant, he was pushed to the ground by the bodyguard with a clear sound of falling.
Another "smack," as the bodyguard raised his hand and slapped Zoe Quinn in front of Sean Lockwood.
The slap was louder than Sean Lockwood’s fall, stunning Zoe Quinn into silence, her tears streaming down.
What happened?
Was she really slapped?
Wasn’t Sean Lockwood supposed to protect her?
The slap ca too quickly, so fast that it took Zoe Quinn three seconds to cry out "Sean, Sean!"
Seeing Zoe Quinn being slapped hard by the bodyguard, Sean Lockwood scrambled up quickly to check her injury.
Her face was swollen, with tears in her eyes, looking pitiful.
"Sean! Why did sister let..."
Being protected by Sean Lockwood, Zoe Quinn habitually pointed the bla at Serena Sullivan, but when she t Ethan Grant’s cold gaze, she swallowed the rest of her words, replacing them with pitiful sobs.

Sean Lockwood shouted angrily.
Ethan Grant not only threatened Zoe, but also had soone slap her directly. Sean touched Zoe Quinn’s cheek with one hand and clenched the other tightly.
"This is the Grant Family’s old house, not where you can ss around."
"Oh!"
Ethan Grant beca intrigued by Sean Lockwood’s words, curling his lips and mocking, "Sean, you really ought to learn from Carter Lockwood."
Sean Lockwood was raised coddled by Renee Grant. He only managed to gain a foothold in the entertainnt industry with his looks and family background, but in reality, he had poor judgnt, little determination, and wasn’t strong.
Compared to Ethan Grant and Carter Lockwood, he was pathetically weak!
It seems children shouldn’t be coddled. If he had a son, he’d definitely beat him from a young age!
