Claire’s eyes reddened; she truly hated herself for being so blind back then, for being fooled by soone like Joel Quinn.
That evening, after finishing her tasks, she returned ho early and saw Serena running towards her in panic.

However, that wretched Claire pretended to be a saint; on the wedding day, she played piano all night in the room. The next day, and the day after, she kicked him off the bed, saying she had a ntal illness and physically couldn’t accept n.
He thought she really was sick and patiently treated her better.
Hoping that soday, this woman would accept him.
Day after day passed; except for showing intimacy in front of outsiders, once in the room, she changed her face, not only refusing him his bed but even made a separate room to sleep in.
This sleeping arrangent lasted until he was kicked out of The Sullivan Residence.
"Claire Sullivan, you didn’t graduate from college and got pregnant outside, gave birth in Solaria to a daughter of unknown origin."

These words were spoken by the wealthy won of Solaria behind Claire’s back.
Claire returned with a big belly, causing The Sullivan Family’s reputation to suffer greatly. Initially, Mr. Sullivan and Madam Sullivan couldn’t accept that the daughter they had raised carefully had done such disgraceful deeds, and they gave Claire two choices.
One was to abort the child; the other was to leave The Sullivan Family.
