The baby left behind was Serena Sullivan.
He took one away and left one for her.
Because Serena was a daughter, the Sterling Family generously left her behind.
For her, Serena was everything. She worked hard to earn money, run the company, and wished she could give Serena the best of everyone.

Waking from a dream, Claire Sullivan opened her eyes, finding them full of tears as she realized it was raining outside.
She didn’t know when the rain started, but it was as heavy as it was twenty years ago.
She sat up and reached for the phone on the bedside table. Her injured fingers grasped the phone, and she realized how weak they felt after Joel Quinn’s attack.
To the Claire Sullivan of the past, fingers were the most precious.
Her dream was to beco a pianist.
Now, even if her fingers were truly ruined, it wouldn’t affect her much.
She originally wanted to call Ethan Grant to ask about Serena’s whereabouts.
Lightning flashed, followed by the rumble of thunder, and Claire Sullivan saw a text ssage. She joyfully clicked it open quickly.
Because it was from Serena.
"I don’t hate you anymore."
With just this sentence, Claire imdiately called the number again.
One call after another, no one answered on the other end.
In the end, Claire Sullivan burst into tears.
Serena was clear about love and hate; because Joel Quinn treated her that way, she certainly couldn’t forgive her.
Sending a ssage now saying she didn’t hate her anymore ant soone knew they were leaving and let everything go.
Claire Sullivan couldn’t stay in the hospital room any longer. Taking advantage of the nurse’s absence, she snuck out of the room.
Once outside, she hailed a cab and gave the na of a hotel.
She also called Ethan Grant.
As she expected, Ethan Grant still hadn’t found Serena’s whereabouts.
If Serena wanted to hide, how could they possibly find her?
Now, she had to implore soone to find Serena, and that person, Claire Sullivan thought, was Mr. Sterling!
For sure, Ethan Grant had gotten a lot of people to help, and adding the Sterling Family could mainly shorten the ti.
The most prominent family in the Imperial Capital, even in Solaria they were highly regarded; for them to find soone would be no difficult task.
The last ti, Claire Sullivan had co to this hotel. She didn’t wait at the entrance but rushed straight in.
The security guards saw she was wearing hospital clothes, her hair extrely disheveled, and her body was wet, so they refused to let her in.
"I’m looking for Mr. Sterling."
"He lives here, doesn’t he?"
Claire Sullivan yelled loudly, wanting more people to hear, letting the Sterling Family know she was looking for them.
As for any elegant image, it didn’t matter at this point.
"Mr. Sterling will not see you,"
the security guard said firmly, blocking Claire Sullivan from entering.
Many people ca to see Mr. Sterling, but none were like Claire, looking so downtrodden and disheveled.
"Mr. Sterling!"
"Mr. Sterling, I need to see you!"
The reception called the room, only to be told not to see this woman.
After confirming, they imdiately had the security guard throw her out.
Claire Sullivan knew that the Sterlings wouldn’t want to see her, but hearing it still made her heart colder. She refused to leave, growing angrier, yelling even louder, "Sterling, get out here!"
"Bastard! Scumbag!"
"Get out here!"
Knowing Serena’s poor health and her disappearance, Claire Sullivan’s emotions were pushed to their limits. Dreaming of events from twenty years ago, coupled with such a rainy day, she could bear it no longer!
