Serena took her initial draft to the Preston Family. In the Preston’s living room, Mrs. Preston examined the draft before looking curiously at the young girl in front of her.

Mrs. Preston was very pleased. The piece of jewelry Serena provided was exactly what she wanted.
"I’ll hand it over to your aunt’s studio to handle the follow-up."

The jewelry would be made with the help of Mindy Sterling’s side.
Serena chatted casually with Mrs. Preston. She wasn’t the type to be noisy, nor was she inarticulate. She spoke with the right balance, politely, and after a conversation, Mrs. Preston’s impression of Serena changed greatly.
Having heard so many bad rumors about the eldest Sterling daughter before, actually sitting down to talk, Mrs. Preston found she liked her, and felt regret.

She escorted Serena to her car and walked back to the Preston’s living room, where a servant hurriedly ca over, "Ma’am, The Dowager Kane called for you."
"The Dowager Kane?"
Mrs. Preston frowned, thinking of Mrs. Sterling and Felicity Sterling who had sent their designs earlier.
Felicity’s design skills were also high, and her jewelry designs were beautiful, but not what Mrs. Preston needed.
What she wanted wasn’t extravagant luxury, but sothing to commorate the ups and downs she’d weathered with her husband, sothing low-key and simple.
She liked Serena’s design!
