Mrs. Sterling seized upon this half sentence, and a person popped into her mind.
Yes, soone like Wayne Jennings should find a mate who is physically challenged—a match.
"Yun’er, do you have soone in mind?" Mrs. Kane anxiously asked when she saw Mrs. Sterling purse her lips.
"Yes." Mrs. Sterling nodded, and then she looked at Mrs. Kane, returning to a colder countenance. "No matter what, if I see your son do anything to my daughter again, I won’t let it go."
"Alright." Mrs. Kane replied with a smile, "I’ll trouble you, aunt, with Wayne’s lifelong matter."
After she spoke, Mrs. Sterling left with Felicity Sterling.
Watching the two walk away, Mrs. Kane curled her lips, eyes filled with coldness. She took out her phone and dialed Wayne Jennings, "Wayne, don’t be afraid of your aunt. Even if you really sleep with Felicity, nobody will do anything to you!"
"Whatever you do, mom supports you."
Mrs. Kane hung up the phone and headed to The Dowager Kane’s courtyard. The servant following her watched Mrs. Kane’s back and felt the people here were truly two-faced.
Earlier, when Miss Sterling was in the living room, it was the madam who called for the young master, then drove away all the servants, changing her face in front of Mrs. Sterling.
Influenced by Mrs. Kane’s reminder, Mrs. Sterling had a new idea.
Once Serena Sullivan dived into work, she lost track of ti and everything else.
Ethan Grant called, knowing she was still in the studio, and had Anna hurry to bring her back to Deepwood.
He had so things he couldn’t leave, otherwise, he’d follow Serena everywhere every day.
Serena had no choice but to pack up her manuscripts and bring them back to Deepwood.
Deepwood was also troubleso—after opening the studio, she was as busy as a spinning top. First Mrs. Sterling and Jas Sterling felt for her and would knock on her door by ten o’clock, reminding her to take a good rest.
She had people watching over her from both sides, leaving Serena helpless yet happy.
When she returned to Deepwood, the sky was dim and gray, the roadside lights lit, and leaves started swaying gently in the quiet night with the wind.
Anna pushed Serena out of the car, and a man’s voice ca.
"Serena!"
It wasn’t Ethan Grant, nor a Sterling Family mber, Serena followed the voice and saw a man leaning against a jeep, holding a cigarette between his fingers, smoking slowly.
Upon seeing Serena, he stubbed out the cigarette and strode over.
The man, as usual, wore a cold expression, eyes indifferent, showing no emotion.
"Finn Chandler!"
Recognizing him, Serena called out, excited and joyous, and then looked at the car behind Finn Chandler, asking, "What about Anna?"
A couple of days ago, Finn Chandler ntioned Anna had returned to the country.
Calculating the ti, she should arrive in Imperial Capital about now.
"Inside."
Finn Chandler pointed to the large house behind him, replying in a calm voice.
Anna had been inside for a while. He was waiting for his cigarette to finish before heading in.
"Okay." Serena responded with a smile and urged Anna to quickly push her inside, eager to et Anna.
Deepwood was a distance from the road. Entering the gate, passing through a garden, finally reaching the large house.
The night was darker. At the villa entrance, Jas Sterling bent over, peeking through the door crack to look inside.
"Dad, what are you looking at...
"Shush!"
Before Serena could finish, Jas Sterling turned around and softly said, "Serena, you’re back."
"Your second brother has co to his senses!"
"Huh?"
Serena looked at Jas Sterling confused, unable to understand his words.
"He knows to bring his girlfriend back." Jas Sterling said happily. He returned to find Second Master Sterling enthusiastically opening the door and entertaining a girl inside.
The two of them are so handso yet couldn’t find girlfriends.
