After resting half a day to adjust to the ti difference, she woke up and rushed over to see Serena, finding her safe and sound, which made her happier than winning a movie award.
Since childhood, she’s had many friends around her, but only Serena and Finn were true confidants.

Carter Lockwood dropped off Serena Sullivan and Anna Morgan at the club entrance, saying he was going to pick soone up and drove away.
"I’ll be back soon."
He said to Anna Morgan before leaving.
Due to the expression on his face, his tone sounded the sa as usual, indifferent, but as an observer, Serena noticed that Carter’s eyes reflected only the image of Anna Morgan.

Anna Morgan pushed Serena Sullivan into the club, which Ethan Grant had booked.

Serena turned her head to look at Anna and saw her puzzled face, wondering if Carter was still in the marking territory phase!

Serena asked Anna in another way.
Anna has a straightforward and fiery nature. Even if she has feelings for Carter, after experiencing the incident with Sean Lockwood, without Carter’s confession, she dares not take the initiative.

Anna replied, "He happened to have business where I was filming, heard I was coming to the Imperial Capital to see you, and ca along."
"He ca to see Ethan Grant."
"Carter said that?" Serena inquired.
"Yes."
"Alright then!"
Serena was at a loss for words. Carter and Ethan have been mingling for so long, yet Carter hasn’t learned even half of Ethan’s thick-skinned bravado.
If Carter doesn’t make a move, will the two of them drag this out until they’re seventy or eighty?
"He didn’t co for Ethan Grant."
Serena said more directly, hoping Anna would think about herself.
"Oh." Anna elongated her voice, wondering, "Then who did he co for?"
As she pondered, Serena remained silent, waiting for Anna to react on her own.
"By the way, Serena."
Unable to figure out who Carter ca for, Anna thought of sothing else, "Sean Lockwood, that brainless guy, married Zoe Quinn without family approval."
"Huh?"
Sean actually married Zoe Quinn!
Ethan Grant hadn’t ntioned anything about Zoe; these days he only had Serena on his mind, not paying attention to others, even Zoe Quinn.
Finn Chandler was busy romancing Julian Ford.
"Didn’t Renee Grant divorce Uncle Lockwood? Sean Lockwood turned around and married Zoe Quinn, making Renee so angry she fell ill."
Renee’s greatest concerns were Felix and Sean Lockwood. The fact that both didn’t heed her words was the biggest blow to her.
"Oh." Serena responded indifferently, not caring much about Zoe Quinn’s affairs.
Zoe’s condition, whether good or bad, has nothing to do with her, as long as Anna no longer thinks fondly of Sean Lockwood.
