Saying she’s used to it, Serena placed her hands lightly rubbing on her legs.
She hadn’t been able to stand for four years, and she always hoped they would regain sensation soday.
Observing the faint smile on Serena’s face, he smiled along and turned to look around the hospital room. Only a female bodyguard was present, with those in charge absent, so he decided to return later.
After he left, First Mrs. Sterling and her family arrived shortly.
The lady brought freshly made at buns and all sorts of soups.
The aroma of the delicious food was alluring, making Nancy drool. First Mrs. Sterling liked this cute and silly little girl, and had prepared her portion.
She placed the rest on the table and accompanied Serena in eating.
Jas Sterling and First Mrs. Sterling knew the matter was caused by Young Master Kane, and were so angry they couldn’t sleep well the whole night.
"The Kane Family is getting more and more excessive," Jas remarked bluntly. In the past, regardless of his hatred for the Kane Family, it wasn’t as intense.

First Mrs. Sterling’s temper wasn’t as good as Jas’s. She knew the twenty-year-old story, feeling sorry for Simon despite his helplessness, but blad him for being liked by a woman like June Kane, and she was also mad at Claire Sullivan for targeting June so harshly.
"He should let it go."
Serena smiled faintly, interjecting into First Mrs. Sterling’s words.
First Mrs. Sterling was taken aback, and Jas was puzzled. Beside them, Eldest Master Sterling and Second Master Sterling exchanged glances, borne out by years in the business world, understanding Serena’s aning.
"Grandfather and Second Uncle have the sa intention."
"Nancy, whatever you do, Big Brother and Second Brother stand by your side."
During this incident, Wayne Jennings almost claid Serena’s life. Regardless of Wayne’s motives at the ti, Ethan Grant and Wyatt Sterling retaliated, marking the official comncent of the "battle" between the Kane Family and The Sterling Family.
