The negotiation failed, and the Dowager sat in the conference room sipping tea.
The timing of her and June Kane’s arrival wasn’t in the morning or in the early afternoon; it was close to closing ti.
Before long, the sky darkened, and the Dowager remained silent. Simon Sterling handled his own affairs, with no interaction between anyone.

The studio, after two promotional banquets and Serena’s fresh designs, attracted more and more visitors.
Serena couldn’t handle it all alone, so the Eldest and Second Master Sterling each chose designers to co and help.
With the Sterling Family’s assistance in the studio, Serena could save a lot of effort, freeing up more ti to focus on jewelry design.
Around closing ti, Ethan Grant arrived punctually to pick her up from work.
Regarding Serena’s travel safety, neither Ethan Grant nor the Sterling Family felt at ease. If Ethan was occupied, either the Eldest Master Sterling or Wyatt Sterling would certainly send soone over.
Along with Yaya, two people protected Serena.
Serena went along with their arrangents because she did indeed need more protection.
When Ethan Grant arrived, Serena was still busy.
Ethan knew that once Serena was imrsed in work, she would forget about ti. In design, inspiration flows, but being interrupted is incredibly frustrating.
Ethan then ordered takeout and stayed at the studio with Serena.
As dusk began to fall, First Mrs. Sterling called and urged them to hurry ho.
Ethan pushed Serena along, with Yaya following them, when Serena suddenly rembered sothing.
"My mom asked when you’re free? Let’s have a al together."
"Hmm?"
With so many moms, Ethan was unsure who Serena was referring to when she ntioned ’mom’.
Ethan paused, realizing it was Claire Sullivan.
Claire hadn’t ntioned when she’d leave the Imperial Capital.
"I’m available."
With an invitation from his mother-in-law, Ethan would clear his schedule no matter how much he had to do.
"Which hotel?"
Ethan asked, wanting to know the address to pick up Serena accordingly.
"It seems, it’s not a hotel." With so many real estate developnts in the Imperial Capital, many nas were repeated.
Serena rembered the address Claire sent was the na of a residential complex.
She took out her phone to check which complex it was when Yaya quickened her pace to walk beside them, "Soone’s following us!"
Yaya was very alert and, sensing the abnormality, advised Ethan to get Serena into the car first.
The car was nearby. Ethan glanced at Seren in her wheelchair, and just then heard footsteps quickly approach. Turning around, he indeed saw soone following them.
Furthermore, five or six people arrived, all carrying tools.
These people were truly bold, even though most employees in this building had left, the underground parking garage still had people coming and going.
"We want her!"
The leader pointed at Serena and said.
Ethan was there; there was no way he’d let Serena be taken away.
Besides, there was the fierce girl Yaya!
"First call the police." Serena looked at Yaya who went to fight, then at the gleaming knife waving towards Yaya.
She trusted Yaya’s skills but was concerned the knife might hurt Yaya.
Ethan coldly smirked and pulled out his phone, but instead of calling the police, he laughed, "Your dad guessed right!"
