When June Kane shouted this, all the guests present gathered around.
The Sterling family elders followed and ca up to Serena Sullivan, "What’s going on?"

Before June could finish calling out, the Sterling patriarch cut her off bluntly, "You and Simon are divorced, so calling ’Dad’ is inappropriate."
With so many people watching, the patriarch didn’t spare June any dignity.
June felt humiliated, her gaze shifted to Serena, thinking that her current predicant was all Serena’s doing, anger surged within her, her eyes reddened, and she said with grievance, "Mr. and Mrs. Sterling, please save Felicity."
"Even if Simon and I are divorced, Felicity is still your granddaughter!"
This statent had a kernel of truth but was mostly false.
If June really cared about Felicity Sterling, she wouldn’t be fixated on Serena here; she should have been following the servants to get her back imdiately.
What exactly is Felicity’s situation now? Did the Ford family servants take her to Wayne? June didn’t care at all, instead, she wanted to "tear off" Serena’s façade in front of all these guests.
In her heart, she probably wished for sothing to happen to Felicity, so that Serena could never wash away the bla.

June kept talking, continually accusing Serena of harming Felicity, but never made the situation clear.
The Sterling patriarch directly asked Serena, "What’s the matter?"
"She says I drugged Felicity Sterling."
Serena smiled gently and replied unhurriedly.
Unable to drug Serena, she turned around and falsely accused her of drugging Felicity.
"I didn’t do it."
Serena replied calmly, while June quickly interjected, "Mr. Sterling, Mother, all the guests, I am not lying."
"Everything recently, because of her..."
June pointed her finger at Serena, tears welling up, continuing, "The Sterling family disregarded the past sentints and drove Felicity and out of the house."
"Felicity was so heartbroken that she lost her appetite and lost weight."
"Just now, upon seeing her and Ethan Grant, Felicity wanted to apologize and nd the relationship, so she went to offer a toast."
"Little did she know, she had already bribe the waitstaff to give Felicity a drugged glass of red wine."
"After drinking it, she found an excuse to take Felicity out for a private chat."
The more June spoke, the more sorrowful she beca, "Who could have guessed, she was waiting for the drug to take effect, to throw Felicity out."

Thinking that Felicity might really be destroyed by that brute Wayne Jennings, June cried even louder as she finished.
After hearing her accusations, the guests all looked at Serena Sullivan.
Sitting in a wheelchair, Serena didn’t panic; her face bore a smile, devoid of any fear.
She hadn’t done it, so what did she have to worry about!
"What nonsense are you talking!"
Ethan Grant’s voice was steady as he spoke first, glaring at June, "Wasn’t it you who arranged for Felicity to co and offer a toast?"

"The waitstaff listens to your words, not ours!"
June’s attempt to drug Serena failed, and now she was making wild accusations; Ethan’s voice grew colder.

"What was wrong with asking Felicity to co and apologize and offer a toast?"
June took a breath and questioned back with grievance, "She has a kind heart, thinking of and the Sterling family."
