Before the slap could land, Wyatt Sterling raised his hand to catch it, once again pushing June Kane away.
The first ti Serena Sullivan didn’t get hit, June Kane could still bear it, but the second ti it was Wyatt Sterling, and he actually dared to catch it.
"Wyatt!"
She shouted sternly.
"June."
"Wyatt, if she dares to slap you, fight back without hesitation."
The patriarch of The Sterling Family spoke up, indicating that typically a man wouldn’t strike a woman, but he wasn’t suggesting that Wyatt hit June Kane. Rather, he was subtly telling Wyatt that he could show disrespect towards her.
The words were tactfully said, but those who knew Wyatt’s lineage understood it.
Wyatt was taken back to The Sterling Family, with the month’s reporting adjusted, made to appear as June Kane’s son.
Faced with his birth mother, no matter how wrong June Kane was, Wyatt had to endure it.
However, if June Kane and he were not related by blood, then resisting was necessary.
The patriarch felt that there was no longer a need to hide Wyatt’s lineage now.
June Kane looked towards the patriarch, clenching her fists, "Patriarch, Felicity has suffered such a great injustice, are you really going to sit by and do nothing, blindly protecting her?"
"Grandpa is not ignoring it."
Serena Sullivan replied on behalf of the patriarch.
June Kane deliberately pressed the issue of Felicity Sterling upon Serena in front of so many people, thereby putting pressure on The Sterling Family.

With the waitstaff’s testimony, June Kane sat up straight, glaring through Wyatt at Serena.

As June Kane was using her tears to gain the guests’ sympathy, and directing The Sterling Family’s resentnt towards Serena, voices suddenly arose around them.
"Felicity Sterling has been found!"
Imdiately another sentence entered June Kane’s ears, and she hurriedly sniffed, making the tears in her eyes co more fiercely. Her mind was filled with imaginations of Felicity Sterling’s miserable state at this mont.
Even if a servant went to find her in ti, they must have ensured Wayne Jennings took full advantage.
"Felicity, my Felicity!"
June Kane’s eyes were blurred with tears, and through the mist, she saw the young girl walking toward the door. She ran over crying and hugged her.

The Dowager Kane disliked hearing anyone slander her grandson. She forcefully knocked the floor with her cane, shouting angrily, "What nonsense are you spouting here!"

The Dowager Kane hadn’t cried herself blind like June Kane.
When Felicity Sterling appeared, what she saw was a Felicity Sterling no different from before, still beautifully made up, dressed cleanly and neatly, with no trace of having been violated!
