Finn exclaid in shock, and only then did she realize sothing was amiss. She turned her head to see the television in the living room was on, displaying three or four people.
"The eting will continue in one hour."
Julian Ford postponed the video conference; Finn’s sudden appearance made it impossible for him to focus on continuing.
"Alright!"
The executives on the screen quickly turned off their screens. With such a scene, how could they dare to continue watching?
It was really too shocking, too awkward to witness!
Knowing that her earlier actions of flirting with Julian were seen by the executives of The Ford Corporation via the video conference, Finn’s face turned red instantly, a rare sight for soone who was usually adept at hiding her emotions.
She was inherently a shy girl, now even more so as a woman imrsed in love.
"Why didn’t you tell you were in a video conference!"
Finn covered her face, turned around into the bedroom, and lay on the bed, pulling the blanket over her head.
It was truly embarrassing; she had never been so embarrassed in her life.
"Hehe!"
Julian followed her in, sitting beside Finn with a smile. "Finn."
He tugged at the blanket covering Finn’s head and said, "You didn’t even give a chance to say anything before you jumped in."
Saying this, Julian bent down beside Finn’s ear and whispered, "Do you miss that much?"
"Hmph!"
Under the blanket, Finn made a disdainful sound.
Julian, the rascal, had really gotten her in trouble.
"Don’t cover your head with the blanket for too long, you’ll suffocate yourself."
"There’s nothing to be embarrassed about, let them see how adorable my girlfriend is."
Julian smiled as he pulled the blanket away.
Finn looked up at Julian’s gentle face, and her heart softened.
"Yes."
She thought for a bit, "There’s nothing to be embarrassed about. I just really missed you."
She just wanted to see him, having t him at the hospital entrance, eager to find out his whereabouts and rushed over to see him.
Julian was even more loved by her than she had imagined.
"Mm-hmm." Julian nodded with a smile, cooperating with Finn.
"Everything my little Finn says is right."
As he said this, the nickna "little Finn" that Anna Morgan used for Finn suddenly popped into his head.
It was also "little Finn."
He didn’t know why, but he thought of Finn, that Young Master Chambers who never dared to show him a good face.
Sotis looking at little Finn, he really felt the two of them were alike.
"Why did you co to the Imperial Capital?"
Julian asked.
"Oh." Finn used a business trip as an excuse for leaving this ti, "The business matters are done, and I just happened to be on the high-speed train to the Imperial Capital when I heard you were here too, so I hurried over."
"It’s barely been a week since we parted, but I miss you so, so much."
Finn reached out to touch Julian’s cheek, and Julian smiled in response. "Mm."
" too!"
An hour later, Julian continued his video conference while Finn bashfully hid in the bedroom.
She lay on the bed, thinking about Julian, feeling sweet inside. A text ssage ca in; it was from Mrs. Chambers.
Mrs. Chambers asked her to co ho for dinner tomorrow night.
Finn didn’t reply. Having been forced by Mrs. Chambers to take on the role of Young Master Chambers for so many years, it was hard to revert to being Miss Chambers.
Back then, Old Master Chambers gave her shares, saying it was for Young Master Chambers, not Miss Chambers.
Although she now controlled The Chambers Corporation, once her identity was revealed, which sibling wouldn’t jump out to challenge her, and even more troubleso were Old Master Chambers and Mrs. Chambers.
