Felicity Sterling looked at Mrs. Kane, suddenly feeling that June Kane’s assessnt of Wendy Monroe was completely wrong.

"That’s enough!" Felicity yelled angrily, "If it weren’t for you, Wayne Jennings wouldn’t have been able to get into my room!"
Wayne Jennings’ death is inseparably linked to Mrs. Kane herself.
"My room’s door was locked from the inside, you can’t open it without a key."
"You had the servants make a copy of the room key."
"When he ca in, I scread loudly, but no one rushed in."
"And then..." Felicity said, suddenly thinking of the fruit placed on the bedroom table and that bright, sharp fruit knife.
Being trapped in the room by Wayne Jennings, when her calls for help went unanswered, she saw that knife, used the desk lamp by the window to hit Wayne, then saw the fruit knife on the table, and went for another stab...

"Felicity, what nonsense are you talking about?"
Mrs. Kane asked gently, "The housekeeper has several copies of your room key, if Wayne wanted to go into a room, would the old lady not permit it?"
"The servants have eyes. Wayne has been interested in you for a while, and you insist on staying in the Ford Family, what can I do!"
"As for the fruit knife and the fruit you ntioned, they were brought in by the servants, what does that have to do with !"
Mrs. Kane denied everything one by one, adding at the end, "Felicity, Wayne was born of my own flesh and blood, his death pains more than anyone."
"I ca here just to remind you, once sothing is done, you can’t hide it no matter how hard you try."
"Listen to your mom, it won’t be wrong!"
After Mrs. Kane finished speaking, she pulled out a small bottle of perfu from her handbag and stuffed it into Felicity’s hand.
The perfu was strong, and just by being held in her palm, Felicity could sll its fragrance wafting through the air.
"No man can resist temptation outside. Luring Ethan Grant is far more interesting than marrying Young Master Walsh, isn’t it?"
"Felicity, Auntie knows you’re unwilling to accept it, without Serena Sullivan, you’re the only young lady of The Sterling Family."
Mrs. Kane smiled at Felicity, then turned and left.
The door closed, leaving Felicity alone in the room.
Felicity sank powerlessly onto the sofa, looking at the perfu left on the coffee table, then at the phone that Mrs. Kane had smashed to the ground.
After she smashed the phone to the ground, Mrs. Kane didn’t even bother to pick it up, because the photos in it were saved elsewhere.
What exactly is she up to!
Felicity felt that Mrs. Kane was like a puzzle, previously shrouded in mist, lowering her presence, making no one realize how terrifying this woman was.
