Claire Sullivan doesn’t like being alone with Serena Sullivan, doesn’t like looking into Serena’s eyes, and especially doesn’t like being mocked by Serena until she feels unsettled inside.
She is Serena’s mother, and everything she does is for the good of Serena and this family, so she isn’t wrong.

Serena Sullivan raised her voice, looked up coldly, and retorted, "You don’t need to manage my affairs."

Seeing Serena not listening at all, Claire Sullivan’s face turned red with anger, "I am your mother, and I have the final say on this matter."
Now she rembers she’s her mother! Serena sneered, calling out to the security guards at The Grant Corporation’s entrance, "Keep her away."

Being driven away by the security, Claire Sullivan felt humiliated.
She cares a lot about her reputation, cannot bear a single insult or mockery, and watched as Serena boarded the car without looking back. She chased a few steps forward, only to be stopped by the security guards.

Those three words, "hell-bent on", penetrated through the car window, piercing Serena’s heart. She turned her head to look out at Claire Sullivan—trying desperately to move closer, those similar eyes filled with anger and sadness.
Serena smiled faintly, lowered her head, and pulled the blanket up on her lap.
As she waited for the smile to suppress the discomfort in her heart, she took out her phone and sent a ssage to Finn Chandler.
"They’re planning to make a move against !"
Before Ethan Grant returns, Serena believes they will co for her, intending to take her away.
If they win this round, she would lose everything.

Quickly, Finn Chandler replied with a single word. Serena was about to put away her phone when another ssage popped in.
