Capítulo 1775: Chapter 1776: Dark Mindset

Xia Yangyang wasn’t backing down either: “I’d like to ask how you educate your children. My child was quietly drawing over there, not bothering anyone, and yet your child hurled insults. Do those words sound like they ca from a five-year-old?”

“What Xiao Fei said isn’t entirely wrong. This child hasn’t spoken a word since school started. She’s living in her own world, introverted and withdrawn. Take a look at what she’s been drawing.”

Xiao Fei’s mom held up Xingxing’s scribbles and showed them to the people nearby: “Does this look like sothing a five-year-old would draw? Unless she has a dark mind, she wouldn’t draw such things. I’m telling you, children with severe psychological issues should go to special schools, not be with our normal kids. This child just violently attacked my child, who knows what might happen next. Children like this grow up to be terrorists, and we cannot let our children mix with such future threats. It’s just too terrifying.”

The surrounding parents gathered around.

Even the teachers ca over.

Xia Yangyang argued with them, firmly believing that Xingxing was only temporarily confused by growing pains.

Eventually, she would get better.

They had never seen the adorable version of Xingxing before.

Gu Zhaohan stepped forward: “Ma’am, I recorded everything you just said. As a parent, your comnts about a five-year-old child are shockingly vicious. Compared to our child, a child raised with your kind of education would probably be even more dangerous. A five-year-old who has learned to bully from their parents, whose fault is that ultimately?”

The parent was relentless.

The observing parents all had differing opinions.

Finally, the teacher diated.

They went to the principal’s office.

The principal naturally wanted to smooth things over.

Xia Yangyang didn’t participate in the subsequent handling of the matter.

Everyone else was in the office.

Xia Yangyang and Xingxing were in the hallway outside.

Gu Zhaohan said he’d handle everything.

Xia Yangyang didn’t want to deal with the other child’s parents.

She cared more about Xingxing’s feelings than the outco.

Xingxing was standing in the hallway against the wall.

The bump on her forehead was already swollen.

Her head was still lowered, silent.

This had been Xingxing’s usual behavior lately.

Lately, Xingxing was self-enclosed in jealousy.

Xia Yangyang was startled when she suddenly snapped at the adults earlier.

But honestly, Xia Yangyang felt a bit glad.

At least Xingxing wasn’t completely shut off.

Things could still reach her inner emotions.

This ant the Xingxing Xia Yangyang was seeing wasn’t the child’s true self.

Maybe she was just desperately holding it in.

Xia Yangyang carefully pondered what the child said earlier, chewing over every word, guessing what might have triggered Xingxing.

Xia Yangyang roughly had a clue.

Xia Yangyang squatted down, holding Xingxing’s hand: “Xingxing, no matter what happens, hitting people is wrong. You cannot hit people anymore, understand?”

Xingxing didn’t respond.

She seed not to have heard Xia Yangyang at all, with no reaction.

Xia Yangyang spoke: “Xingxing, if anything’s bothering you, tell , okay? I’m your mom now, and I’ll take care of you forever.”
