Capítulo 1881: Chapter 25: A Midsumr Night’s Star

Every ti Xingxing acted all cute and laughed like that, Wen Quan couldn’t resist.

Wen Quan smiled and said, “Okay, I promise you, but what’s up with your class? Why are you all suddenly putting in so much effort?”

Lu Yinxing explained the talent competition rules to Wen Quan.

Lu Yinxing said with great dissatisfaction, “The administration is really being too inhumane with this, so we absolutely have to prove to them that our class is not just a bunch of useless dummies.”

Lu Yinxing didn’t voice her personal motives.

Her main goal, of course, was to participate in the talent competition, win, and eventually beco Yin Yifan’s guest.

But basically, that’s what everyone in Class 13 was thinking too.

Right now, they’re all working together to overco this hurdle.

When the ti cos, everyone will compete fairly.

Wen Quan looked at Lu Yinxing’s indignant face, tapped her little nose, and said, “It’s rare to see you willing to study, so of course I have to help you. How about this, tonight I’ll test your class’s academic level, and starting tomorrow, I’ll give you a study plan. It’s much better than your current inefficient, headless-chicken-style learning.”

Lu Yinxing was overjoyed.

Wen Quan was also one of the top students in school.

He was different from Xia Ye.

Xia Ye was the type of genius who had actually already mastered all the knowledge before even enrolling.

For Xia Ye, attending school was just like going through a life ritual, not a necessity.

During this growing phase, he hadn’t thought about doing anything else.

In Lu Yinxing’s eyes, Xia Ye was just lazy, attending school out of routine.

But Wen Quan truly earned his reputation as a top student with his good grades.

Of course, he was also very smart, but despite his seemingly relaxed deanor, he was truly an outstanding student.

He studied diligently and excelled in all areas including moral, intellectual, and physical developnt, making him the teachers’ favorite student.

That’s why Wen Quan, not Xia Ye, was the monitor of the Olympia Class.

He had his own set of efficient study thods.

If he could pass them on, Lu Yinxing thought it would be fantastic.

Lu Yinxing happily clung to Wen Quan’s arm, “Wen Quan gege, you’re the best, way better than my brother.”

Whenever Lu Yinxing thought of Xia Ye, it infuriated her.

She still hadn’t gotten over the previous incident, and even when she lowered herself to ask him for a small favor today, he refused.

A aningful smile appeared at the corner of Wen Quan’s mouth, and his eyes fell behind Lu Yinxing, “Really, in your heart, I’m better than your brother?”

Lu Yinxing was happily lightheaded at this mont.

And since Wen Quan was helping so much, she naturally wanted to flatter him.

So she said, “My brother is just a petty little brat, you’re definitely much more likable than he is.”

Wen Quan suddenly laughed with great pride, “Ye, did you hear that? After all these years, my standing in Xingxing’s heart has finally surpassed yours, I’m truly so relieved.”

Hearing Wen Quan’s words, Lu Yinxing was slightly taken aback.

She turned around following Wen Quan’s gaze.

She saw Xia Ye standing not far down the hallway.

When did he get here?

Wasn’t he supposed to have gone ho already?

She didn’t even know why, knowing Xia Ye had overheard everything they said.

Lu Yinxing suddenly felt a bit guilty for a mont.

Not sure why she was feeling guilty.
