Xi Jiaxin was quick to grab Liu Ruyan, dragging her upstairs towards the room.
Liu Ruyan had no idea what was happening.
But she could sense the raging fury emanating from Xi Jiaxin.

He’d called her yesterday claiming he was still on a business trip in Japan.
In truth, she knew he’d been back for two days.
Spending his ti in various decadent venues.
But such constant womanizing was typical behavior for Xi Jiaxin.
She’d long since grown accustod to this side of him.
Regardless of how many extramarital affairs he had, she was Mrs. Xi, and that was enough.

Liu Ruyan’s expression changed: “Why bring that up now? You were involved in that too, you arranged that car accident to look like drunk driving.”
She approached him, trying to soothe him, placing a hand on his chest: “Jiaxin, what on earth has gotten you so riled up? We’re in this together, for better or worse. Tell what’s happened.”
Xi Jiaxin was still seething.
He tightened his grip on Liu Ruyan’s arm: “Liu Ruyan, you’re still playing dumb! You’ve been having an affair with Han Cheng! You wanted to replay your old trick—using the sa thod you used to murder Xia Liangdong—to kill . You tampered with my car, trying to stage an accident. Luckily, I’m hard to kill. Now it’s your turn, Liu Ruyan.”
With that, Xi Jiaxin had his hand around her neck: “You wicked woman! You thought you could deceive , even murder . Is it my wealth you’re after? Is that why you’ve been so eager to help with my business—that was your sche all along, wasn’t it, Liu Ruyan? I am not Xia Liangdong, you won’t fool so easily.”
Liu Ruyan hadn’t expected her affair with Han Cheng to be discovered.
She vehently denied the allegations that she had tampered with his car. She had done no such thing.
But soon enough, she was struggling for breath.
Liu Ruyan clutched desperately at Xi Jiaxin’s hand, her face turning red, on the brink of suffocation.
Just in ti, Xia Weiwei bustled in, shoving Xi Jiaxin off.
Liu Ruyan collapsed onto the floor, panting heavily.
