Hearing Cecilia Vaughn’s voice, the deep blue Aston Martin slowly lowered its window, revealing a refined and elegant face.
It was Zion Prescott.
The man nodded slightly toward Cecilia, adjusting the gold-rimd glasses on his nose with a gentle smile.
"Miss Vaughn, you flatter . My modest inco can’t compare to your older brother’s."
Cecilia chuckled, "Doctor Prescott, you’re too humble. Just this Aston Martin alone is not sothing ordinary families can afford."

Cecilia settled into the passenger seat, and since Zion Prescott wasn’t much of a talker, she didn’t force a conversation.
To be honest, she had quite a favorable impression of Zion. Putting aside the fact that he saved Evan Vaughn’s life, Doctor Prescott himself was a humble and gentle person, always polite and never arrogant.
Thinking of Bella Prescott’s constant daydream of marrying a handso, rich, and righteous man, Cecilia felt that Zion Prescott was a good match, not to ntion they shared the sa last na, maybe it was fate.
And it seed that Zion Prescott didn’t have a girlfriend, prompting Cecilia’s first thought of matchmaking, so she couldn’t resist asking.
"Doctor Prescott, do you have a partner? Would you like to introduce you to soone?"
Zion looked at Cecilia, slightly surprised by her enthusiasm for such matters, and politely shook his head.
"No, but my career cos first, and I’m not looking for anyone at the mont."
Cecilia nodded, internally grumbling that Zion Prescott was workaholic number two, just like Adrian Law, so she didn’t push further.

Following Zion’s words, Cecilia looked up at the lavish venue ahead, a hint of astonishnt in her apricot eyes.
The Evernight Palace.
One of the most luxurious night spots in Stellerton, expensive and extravagant, it’s a true money pit. Such high-end entertainnt clubs have an entry fee that’s not sothing the average white-collar worker can afford.
"Are you sure this is the place?"
"Yes, that’s right, Felix Lockwood doesn’t have the best taste, I hope Miss Vaughn will forgive him."

Cecilia was rendered speechless.
She hadn’t been here before, but had heard about this place from her friend Mona Sumrs.
Mona loved lively places and was outgoing and free-spirited. She had been to The Evernight Palace a few tis before and even wanted Cecilia to join her, but Cecilia declined.
Unexpectedly, she would witness The Evernight Palace’s splendor in this manner years later.
Zion was evidently not here for the first ti, as he approached The Evernight Palace’s entrance with ease, and Cecilia frowned slightly as she followed.

Once inside, Cecilia found it even more extravagant.

Soon, a charming woman approached, bowing deeply to Zion.
"Young Master Prescott, you’ve arrived. Young Master Lockwood has been waiting for you in Box 3032, please proceed inside."
The woman was dressed in a red strapless top and hot pants, with little devil horns on her head and a long red fox tail on her hips, swaying seductively as she moved.
Cecilia felt uncomfortable seeing this. What kind of haunted place was this?
However, Zion remained composed, not even glancing at the woman dressed like a fox, instead speaking softly to Cecilia.
"Let’s go."
She followed Zion as the fox-dressed lady led the way in front of them, her red tail occasionally brushing against Zion’s body.
Zion discreetly stepped back, and Cecilia’s brow furrowed even more deeply, prompting her to ask.
"Doctor Prescott, do you and Adrian co to places like this often?"
Zion gave Cecilia a gentle smile, even changing his way of addressing her, as if to comfort her.
"Rarely, Felix is the one who likes coming here; rest assured, sister-in-law, Adrian is always well-behaved."

Being seen through by Zion, Cecilia couldn’t help but feel a bit embarrassed.
It’s good that they don’t co here often. She trusts Adrian, but witnessing such a scene makes her feel uneasy. Hmph, she doesn’t care, she just doesn’t like Adrian hanging out in places like this.

Soon, the two arrived at Box 3032.
Upon opening the door, they saw Felix sitting in the center of the booth, surrounded by n and won.
Several won, dressed identically to the previous fox girl, were sitting by Felix’s sides, giggling coquettishly and causing a scene with their exaggerated charms.
One of the girls even stood up, leaving a suggestively placed lipstick mark on Felix’s shirt collar.

Felix, with his flirtatious eyes, stared at Cecilia and Zion without any embarrassnt.
"Zion! Sister-in-law, you’re here! Where’s Adrian?"
Zion nodded lightly.
"Hmm, Adrian is still at the office and told us to have fun first."
anwhile, Felix wrapped an arm around a girl’s waist beside him, grinning as he accepted a grape from her delicate hand.
"Yuck, workaholic, so annoying."
Seeing this scene gave Cecilia a slight headache, sowhat disgruntled about Felix turning a decent celebration into such a scene, but being not familiar with him, she said nothing.
Noticing her discomfort, Zion guided her to a quieter spot in the booth to sit down.
"Sister-in-law, sit here, it’s quieter."
Cecilia nodded gratefully. Zion took a seat not far from her, leaving a sofa’s distance between them and Felix at the center of the booth.
As Cecilia glanced around at those unfamiliar young noblen, she noticed they all naturally enjoyed the services of the fox ladies, making her headache worsen.
Truly an eyesore.
Felix approached with a drink in hand, aware that Adrian had ntioned Cecilia doesn’t drink alcohol, so he gave her juice instead.
Zion gave him a gentle reminder.
"Felix, take it easy, once Adrian gets here, make sure to send these lady servers away."
Felix pouted, "Got it, got it."

Cecilia felt out of place with the lively atmosphere, but fortunately, Zion didn’t indulge in any inappropriate activities.
Feeling stifled, she spoke to Zion.
"I’m going to the restroom."
She stood up and had just opened the door to leave the booth when a crowd surged in, and she accidentally bumped into the leading person.
"Felix, you’re amazing, landing such a big deal."
The people entering laughed, and upon seeing Cecilia, the leader’s eyes lit up.
"Where did this pretty young lady co from?"
