Mr.Nobody stepped inside the house. It was already full of guests, voices blending in a warm, lively atmosphere.
Toma’s mother opened the door and smiled kindly. "You must be one of Toma’s friends. Co in, co in."
He nodded slightly and walked in. The place felt crowded, yet oddly distant to him. It didn’t take long to notice that Toma’s father wasn’t around.
Then he saw her. Toma.
Toma stood among the guests, dressed in a soft vanilla-colored gown decorated with white rose patterns. The light fell gently over her, making her stand out without trying. For a mont, Mr.Nobody just stared. A faint warmth crept up as he looked away, slightly flustered.
Aiden was there too. As expected.
He stepped forward confidently and handed Toma a small box.
"Here," he said with a smooth smile, "a necklace for an angel."
Inside was an expensive diamond necklace.
Toma blinked, a little surprised. "What was the necessity of bringing sothing so expensive?" she said.
Aiden chuckled softly. "Money ans nothing compared to your happiness."
Toma laughed lightly. "Aidi, You really don’t change."
Mr.Nobody watched silently from the side. Sothing about the scene made his chest feel a little heavier.
Other guests began giving their gifts as well. Dresses, books, cooking items, makeup sets. One after another, neatly wrapped packages piled up. It was lively. Bright. Complete.
Then Toma’s eyes shifted.
She saw him. Mr.Nobody.
"Huh..? Nobody?"
Her expression lit up imdiately and she rushed over. "When did you co?" she asked, a little breathless. I thought you got sick or sothing and wouldn’t make it. I’m glad you’re okay."
Before he could answer, Aiden’s voice cut in. "Who invited him?"
His tone carried a hint of annoyance. "Or did he just co here to freeload like that wedding event?"
Toma frowned slightly. "I invited him."
Aiden paused, then gave a small smile. "If that’s the case, then it’s fine." He glanced at Mr.Nobody. "So, did you co empty-handed, or just to give wishes?"
Mr.Nobody shook his head. "No. I brought a gift."
He reached into the inner pocket of his coat and pulled out a frad photo. He handed it to Toma.
The mont she saw it, she froze.
"Is that....?"
It was a picture of the two of them at the pastry shop. Toma was holding the cara for a selfie, smiling brightly, while Mr.Nobody was focused on eating, completely unaware. A simple mont. But sothing to rember.
Her eyes filled instantly.
"Thank you so much, Nobody," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "This is the best gift I got today."
Mr.Nobody blinked, caught off guard by her reaction. He turned his head slightly and muttered under his breath, "Thanks... system. What would I even do without you in this NPC life?"
[System Warning] User can not interfere with the main plot! ( ̄︶ ̄)
"Dumbass System!" Mr.Nobody said to the System window with an irritated tone.
Aiden watched the scene quietly, his expression tightening, "A photo! Out of everything, she was reacting like this to a god damn simple photo!
" I had given her a diamond necklace." His jaw clenched slightly.
"What is happening to her these days? All because of so nobody... whose na is literally Nobody. Ridiculous."
Mr.Nobody suddenly sneezed. "Is soone thinking about ?" he muttered.
The mont passed as the room filled with voices again.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you
Happy birthday, dear To..ma...Happy birthday to you..."
Everyone gathered around as Toma stood in front of the chocolate cake. Smiling, she cut a slice. Without warning, she stepped forward and pushed the cake slice straight into Mr.Nobody’s mouth. He blinked, surprised, chewing slowly.
Then he glanced to the side, talking to us. "Hey guys... I love chocolate cake. You too, right?"
Laughter spread around them.
Toma’s mother clapped her hands lightly. "Alright, everyone, let’s take a group photo." She set up the cara with a tir and hurried into position. As people gathered, Toma grabbed Mr.Nobody’s arm and pulled him closer beside her.
He stiffened slightly but didn’t resist.
Toma stood on his right. Mr.Nobody raised his hand awkwardly behind his head. Aiden stood nearby in a composed pose, one hand in his pocket, expression calm but distant.
"Say cheese!"
The cara flashed.
And the mont was captured.
A mont captured forever
