Two days later, Vanessa Sterling completely forgot about her agreent with Riley Raines, and as usual, she taught art classes to the children in her classroom.

Fortunately, Riley’s strength was relatively weak while drunk, and Vanessa managed to push him away.
Riley stumbled back, then fell onto the ground.
Without a doubt, this made Riley even angrier and irrational, spitting harsher curses, as he struggled to get up and lunged at Vanessa again.
Vanessa knew she wasn’t his match in a power struggle.

Today, it was all female teachers at work, they likely hadn’t seen such a scene, and were upstairs watching the children, afraid to co down.
Vanessa was trapped in the corner of the desk, unable to get out.
Seeing Riley grabbing the tree trunk used for decoration by the wall, stumbling towards Vanessa.
"You’re a woman who doesn’t know what’s good for her, I see you need so discipline!"
This situation inevitably brought up shadows in Vanessa’s heart that were hard to dispel.
But now she wasn’t just blindly afraid, she was thinking of how to resist.
With fear in her heart, Vanessa grabbed a square crystal ornant from the desk and without thinking, hurled it heavily at Riley.
The ornant hit Riley’s shoulder and then shattered on the ground.
Riley, seemingly even more infuriated by Vanessa’s actions, bared his teeth and raised the tree trunk, swinging viciously at Vanessa...
Vanessa’s hand, stretched out to block, didn’t feel pain as expected.
Instead, she heard Riley’s scream.
